woo, okay, this picture took me over 70 layers to do... -_-;but it was pretty fun! This is my first piece of fanart in several years now, and my first ever colored fan art! This is also my first ever piece of Avatar fan art, so cut me some slack? I don't really like the way Katara's face turned out, it doesn't really look like her and to be quiet frank i hate it! but oh well, i promise my next piece will be better! for those of you who have seen the newest episodes of avatar, Zuko now has hair! OMG HUZZAH!!! Anyways, this piece is actually for my fanfiction titled 'Got your heart in a headlock', hence the words at the bottom.
and before anyone even says it, Zuko has no scar here because, DUH this is the right side of his face and his scar is on his left! So NYAH!
anywho, this is dedicated to all of those who have commented on my fanfiction, thank you so much!

the contrasts of the colors with eachother and the background is great (and of course the coloring is also beautiful)
I like the movement of their elements and the poses...
but I have to say that my absolute favorite part of this whole thing is how they are holding hands while whatever is going on is going on ~
I don't know how to describe it in words but there's just something about that little act that gets me right here *places hand over heart*

I love the Fire and Ice contrast and a definte Whoop for putting some hair on Zuko. I think he's a lot sexier with it

Y'know, I try to look for things to critique, and usually I can find something small that bothers me....but I got nothing here. Absolutely nothing.
Everything about this is amazing. The flow that accents the poses, the unique style of coloring that has an effectively simplistic air about it, the elaborate details that play off each other....just everything. Katara looks simply awe-inspiring- I adore how you did her hair and eyes. The hand-hold between them is a good touch, for it gives a more romantic atmospere. Brilliant job. ^^

Yo, that's really nice XD I read your fanfiction and when I saw the mention of fanart, I bolted straight here. I really love it when writers have art to go with their fics.
I'm planning to start one myself [cause i think it would be lame if I have zutara themed art from the fanfiction and it's not posted anywhere XD]
Although, I doubt I'll write it since it'll have like two OCs through most of it. From what I see, people dont tend to enjoy originals, even if they're far from Mary Sues and Joe Sues.

I know, and I'm actually one of those people who think about their characters, not jsut base them on myself. The only thing Bane [oc] might have in common with me is that we both like to be oblivious to things and be cheerful [then again...I'd never be as cheerful as Bane >>]
