Description

He knows him from somewhere.

He isn't sure from where, but he knows that orange teen. The feathers, the mismatched eyes, face split in two different colors...
All these things add into something that's so familiar to him that Lee can't help but stare at the other. He barely registers that the kit is staring at him with the same amount of confusion and curiosity.

"Do... I know you?"
Lee doesn't even realize he's the one who asked the question, the other perking up at the sound of his voice. Chasing the clues.

But he's interrupted as he opens his mouth, Lee blinking down at the feeling of little paws pressing into his arm.
The little kid who ran into him is staring up at him with a grin, oversized tail wagging behind him.
"Tha's m' brother!" He exclaims, words muffled by the ribbon still in his mouth. The brother in question sighs with fondness, stepping closer to pull the kid off of Lee's arm. Lee notices the difference in color and sizes of the gems in their chests.

"Sorry he ran into you, I was trying to tie this ribbon on him but.." The orange teen motions to the ribbon in his younger sibling's mouth, making a face of defeat when the child decides to start shaking his head aggressively. "... Obviously, he doesn't want to wear it."

Lee chuckled, amused at the silliness of these siblings. He wonders what that's like. "Ahh, it's okay. We're new here so it was bound to happen."
The other teen blinked at him curiously, blue eyes looking over his probably disheveled fur and hair. Slightly embarrassing, but Lee forgot one had to look presentable in front of others. He got so used to just him and Ikati, and his friend didn't seem to mind how wild he looked.
Hm. Actually, maybe it was a bad idea trusting Ikati to tell him if he was presentable or not. He didn't exactly... control, that hair of his.

"Hm, well," The other kit started speaking, jolting Lee from his realizations and need for a bath, "I can show you around here if you like? There's lots of places to get lost so it's important to know where everything is!"

"Ah, really? That'd be great-"
"Lee."

He blinked in surprise at the sudden voice beside him, turning to see Ikati pressing into his side and glaring at the other teen.
He couldn't help but giggle at the pout obvious on Ikati's face, had he been standing next to him for long? There was no reason to make such a face.
"Ikati! I got bumped into!" He smiled cheerfully, the pout on the others face lessening to one of confusion. "I was only mildly afraid!"
"Why would you be happy about that? Who are they?" Ikati nodded towards the two, frowning when the orange one stepped up.
"As I was telling your friend, I'm Seraphim." He looked down to the dark kit between his legs, now biting at the ribbon on his brothers neck. "This is Pariah, my little sibling."

Ikati nodded slightly in acknowledgment of this introduction, quickly looking back to Lee with a barely hidden look of disapproval. "Anyways, we shouldn't stay here long. That person told me where the available rooms are so we should go there and find some food."

Strangely, Seraphim's eyes glittered with interest at Ikati's blatant disrespect. "Oh? Well, I did also tell Lee that I could show him around the Tree. Why don't I show you to the cafeteria?"

His friend immediately sent Seraphim a glare, a blatant sneer on his face.
"I don't think so.."
"No? I'm sure you're very hungry, we can even share a plate."

Lee found himself a little... dumbfounded. Too many things were happening and he couldn't keep up...
The past couple days haven't been easy on his brain, nor the past 10 minutes. He needs... a break.

He looked down at the kid, Pariah, who stopped his attack of his brother's ribbon and just watched in equal confusion as Seraphim and Ikati bickered.
He flicked his tail at Pariah, the ki- kit, turning his attention to him.
He leaned down, smiling at the way Pariah's eyes went to the pieces of his hair that dangled in front of him. "Hey, do you want to show me where the food is?"
The kit perked up, eyes conflicted between looking at his face and the dangly bits of hair, but smile still excited. "Ah! Yeah! I know where it is!"

He wiggled out from under Seraph's legs, distracting his brother from his antagonizing of Ikati and started off into a seemingly random hall. "Wh- Pariah!"
Lee couldn't help the smile as he knocked his wings against the two teens as he got up to follow, laughing at their sputters and shouts to wait for them.

This is much more fun.
