A robot monster I made for my "gear wars" series.

here, have some lore about him, courtesy of the scribes of Loew's World:

I figure he roams the battlefield, draining light from anyone he finds, to try to light his lamp head up, again. Problem is, most of the denizens of Loew's world don't have much light in them, being that they're given life by a mysterious energy known as the "gearforce," which doesn't really have much light, to it. Nonetheless, he presses on. Truth be told, the lamp hasn't had light since before he was created: the only reason he knows it could is because of some innate memory from the lamp itself, from before he was made. He was a "failed experiment," of sorts, due to the use of the lamp which saw him turn on his creators, hungry for light. The survivors were quick to let the word out about never using light fixtures discarded by the giants who once roamed Loew's World, and now it's a part of the code of the Winchheava Convention to always make light fixtures from scratch, to avoid such mistakes, in the future. As such, all lamps found in scrap deposits since this incident have been promptly melted down.
