Description In 2004, I went to Bangalore, India for a wedding. Even for a city considered small by Indians, it was staggeringly HUGE.

I went to Mysore, a slightly smaller town out of the way, and was climbing up Mysore's famous temple for Shiva, having paid a few rupees for a beautiful necklace of fragnant jasmine - the night falling faster than I wanted it to, for my poor flash-free Nikon FM2.

In the twilight, I stopped, and the crowd of curious natives stopped behind my footsteps, and peered at me like a gaggle of magpies as I struggld to take a photo of my Indian-dusted hand holding the cascade of pure white petals before the sun blinkered out in the flat horizon.

The redness is from when the film didn't roll back properly, and I opened the camera, curses be, a split second too late to realise.

If you think I'd best leave it, (I do rather like the way it tempers the darkness of the picture) or if you have any photoshop tips/tricks to rid the redness, please do tell so!
