Description
I think that's the first Star Wars pic I drew in quite a while. Total working time was round 9hours of which 4hours had been streamed yesterday. Now to the char, he is a Nautolan and former Jedi with the name of Kojo Tirr.
During the clonewars he served as a Jedi knight on a ship of the Repubic among with a small battallion of clones under a Jedi master. At a point they were send to Dathomir as rumors had reached the Jedi council that Count Dooku was leading a mission to enslave the witches of Dathomir into an army of mindless assassins. However upon their arrival on the planet their ship was caught in a storm Kojo later referred to as 'not natural' tho it never became clear what or who might have caused it. As a result of the storm their ship crashed into the vast and dangerous jungle of the world. Kojo only survived as he shielded himself, using the force and his incredible ability to keep up focus besides being caught in total wreckage around him. When he then woke again from his meditation the full strength of the destruction aorund him hit him like a Rancor as long as with the dark presence of this world. Death and fire were surrounding him, dead bodies lay in shreds between the remainings of the ship.
All in sight were dead.
Long did he then search among the tremors of the wreckage, but only few had survived. In the end only he and ten clones were still drawing breath, of which three then still died from their severe wounds. Amongs the fallen also had been the Jedi master leading this mission as well as the entire commando of the battalion. Now it was to Koj to lead the survivers, yet he was only a knight and the remaining clones blamed him and his master for this carnage. Still they had a job to finish and besides not trusting the young Jedi, they followed him, knowing their duties and in the end it was their only option as every way of long ranged comminication had been wiped out in the crash and no help would come to them on this world.
So they ventured on through the dangerous wilds of Dathomir, vaguely towards their goal which had been said to be a hidden base of Count Dooku. Long and troublesome was their way and only thanks to Kojo it was that none of the remaining troops had perished. So it came for example that they were attacked by two witches and their Rancor pets. Yet Kojo was able to break the control of the Dathomirians over their beasts and so, when they fed on their former masters Koj and his little troop could get away. They advanced and more than once Koj proved himself to the clones, be it up front using his double-bladed orange lightsaber or by supporting them using his connection to the force to calm rageous beasts.
When they then arrived at their destination they had to face the tragic fact, that the base of the dark lord had long since been abondoned. Plants had grown over it and it was inhabited by lizards and inscets of all sizes. It was a tragic disappointment, so long they had suffered and so many had perished and it was all for nothing. Tho something far more dangerous then closed in when a big group of witches and their rancor pets broke through the jungle.
Kojo would later speculate how they tracked them there, but it never came out for real. Yet right then none could care how they found them, only that they would have to fight if they wanted to survive once again. To take the advantage of their enemies's numbers and strength they retreated into the abondoned Bunker. The witches then had to dismount their pets as even the brute strength of the Rancors couldn't break the building, but still they outnumbered Kojo and his clones. The young jedi held his ground well against various foes, but the clones were constantly been pushed back. Without fully realizing it, Koj fell into a deep trance like stance where he constantly stood between fighting his own enemies and supporting the troopers with his combat meditation. That way they could hold their ground against the witches and when Kojo fell his last enemies he engaged the remaining witches, who were now trapped between the jedi and the clones. In the end Koj and his clones escaped without a single fallen, however the Nautolan had been so exhausted during the fight that he passed out on their escape. It was luck that neither the rancors of the Dathomirians nor any other kind of predator tracked them and in the end they got back to their wrecked ship which had served them since their crash as a base.
Kojo woke from dark dreams when the sound of a ship's engine boomed above their heads. A ship of the Republic, or tho he thought. He got up and only a heavy headache had remained from the battle, but then there was something odd. It was a knawing feeling in the force, something was not right. Carefull he reached out with the force to find his squad, they were just meeting the commander of the ship which just had arrived. Kojo sneaked close to them, listening.
"I see that your mission failed." Spoke the newly arrived commander. "Has Order 66 been executed?"
The clones looked at each other. "Sir, we were not aware that we were to execute this order. We have been cut off from all communications since the crash, sir." One of the clones reported.
"Then where is the Jedi master that was commanding you?"
"Dead sir, he died during the crash." Reported one of the clones, with certain pause as Kojo noticed. He wasn't entirely sure what this order said, however he had a bad feeling about it and without a noise he retreated into the jungle of the world. Out of sight he reached out with the force, sensing the emotions of the soldiers. The force moved dark around the commander, he was here to kill on command. That frightened Kojo, why would a clone want to kill a Jedi? What had happened during their isolation on Dathomir? Kojo then focussed on the clones of his squad. Around them the force moved differently. He sensed doubt and fear. At the same time he sensed their urge to do their duties as well as the urge to spare the life of a friend. Him.
The commander was being led to the burnt cropse of the Jedi master, his ruined lightsaber being prove enough that it was indeed a Jedi. Then the commander turned once more to the clones.
"Where is the other one? According the files there were two Jedi accomponing you."
For a brief moment Kojo sensed a swell of fear in his troops until one of them spoke up.
"We don't know sir, we didn't saw him. We take that he has perished in the crash like his master, but like many of our brothers, we couldn't find his corpse from the wreck as it is instable."
He lied. Kojo never had witnessed a clone to lie, especially not to a superior.
For a moment their was silence, then the commander nodded. "Fine. Your job here is done. Gather your gear soldiers, the Empire still needs your service."
The Empire? Kojo thought and the knawing feeling grew in the back of his head.
He watched the clones leave and for the first time in months of not years, he was entirely alone and only the fast beating of his heat accomponied his thoughts. Silently he watched the ship depart from Dathomir. When he stepped back onto the glade of the wreck he looked around, feeling lost for the first time in his live and all the emotions he usually controlled so well, pressed down on him wiht the weight of a lifetime.
Then his eyes were drawn to something that seemed out of place. A datapad lay behind a few tremors. But it didn't lay there before, at least Kojo didn't remembered it and it looked to clean and repaired to still be a remaining of the crash. Kojo picked it up and turned it on. A message appeared.
'Order 66 - All Jedi must die - Hide forever'
That was the single line written there and it's senister meaning came to Kojo like a tidal wave. He gasped and fell to his kneels as he suddenly realized what strange feeling it was that was knawing on him since he woke up. A great quake in the force as a result to the deaths of coutnless Jedi.
Trempling he sat there, tears running down his face from those ink-black eyes of his and above him the sun and moons danced in their endless cycle while he sat there, grieving.
On the third day he then stood up and decided he would not let the loyality of his squad be in vain and he would live. So he set out into the jungles of Dathomir again on a long journey.
Even he didn't know then how long he had traveled but one day he felt something. A riple in the dark presence of the world, like a whisper or a very distant call. As he followed, the nature around him grew darker and more dangerous with every step. And then he found it. The ancient ruin that was home to the ripples in the force. It was a single stone square with a flat triangle in it's middle like a sail. In the center of this stoney sail lay an opening with a hovering sphere. The building was over grown with plants but still the scent of death surrounding it entirely. Huge bones pierced the ground in front of the mysterious building and thorny veins covered the ground of the clearing. The presence of the dark side was deep rooted in this place, Kojo could feel it clear. It was a place of deep night, but still it spawned life and death equally.
Kojo drew his lightsaber, the two hot golden blades flashing to life as he set foot into the dark hallway, that led deep down into the earth. Carvings and paintings alligned the wallls as he had never seen them before, but they had parallels to ruins he had seen on Korriban years before. Then there was a whisper, not just a whisper in the force but an actual whispered voice. Then a flash of golden light in the distance of the crubling hallway. Kojo followed until he pushed a huge stone door open and stood in a vast room that seemed to be a laboraty beyond ancient. Scrolls and books had been lined up on the walls, bones of ancient creates lay in the corners and a big desk stood in the center before some kind of platform. The air was motionless in here, no living creature or plant had found this place yet. It must have been sealed for milienia. The tentacles on Kojo's head coiled like snakes at the scent of darkness in here. There was a power still lingering, but distant and not clear.
Kojo closed his eyes. He gathered his focus again and opened himself to the bright side of the force. A golden light flickered shortly before him, then a distant laughter.
Hahah a bright one came to see us. We can see you. Can you see, us little fish. Bright fish swimming in the dark lake, dark lake. Be carefull what you fish ahaha.
The crazy voiced echoed in Kojo's mind, tho it's words made little sense, but he could feel the aeons twisting the mind of whatever creature he was talking to. "Who are you? What are you? A spirit in the force? Are you buried here?"
Buried? Buried! No, not dead we are little fish in the dark lake, not dead only...forgotten.
A terrible sadness rippled then through the force around Kojo, so intense it forced the tears into the eyes of the Jedi.
So alone...all forgotten, we here so strong, our children and I...but then he came! HE came little fish! HE CAME AND STOLE! HE CAME AND KILLDED OUR CHILDREN!
The voice screamed towards the end in Kojo's mind and he pressed his palms in agony against his head to stiffle the tormenting voice. The rage untamed and ancient washing over him like a storm.
THE DECIEVER CAME AND TOOK OUR WORK! ABUSED OUR WORK AND LEFT US HERE TO ROT!....But we...we still lingered here and waited...patiently, after we had mourned our beautiful children....
Kojo gasped as the storm subsided and he could again find clear thoughts that were his own after the pure emotions of the spirit had just washed away all the feelings that had been his own. "What...what did you wait for?"
But for you....for you little fish...sooo long we waited for you...or someone like you or someone entirely different...a fish, a spider, a snake? We are glad it's a fish, we always liked them most. Because we swim like fish as well, just in the air, in the force. We will show you? No..yes..yes we will show ourselves to you little fish.
While the insane voice still echoed in his head, Kojo opened his eyes. Now illuminating the lab he saw a golden...cloud hovering in the center of the room, vaguely the shape of a person, but blurry and featureless. "What are you? Who are you?"
We...we don't know...we are the mother of our children...and their father too...once we had a name, once we were flesh and bones....oh were so pretty, prettier than you little fish..but you are fine, just a fine little fish.
Kojo could barely understand what was going on. He did figured that this ghost must be the spirit of an ancient force user, he figured that the countless years made her forgot here very self and now she was just a blurry insane spirit...but still incredible powerfull. "You say, you were waiting for me...but why? I don't know you and I don't know if I want to." The Jedi managed to say, tho the pressure in his head was still tormeninting his mind.
We wish to pass you our work...someone else than HIM!...someone else...you finally came...we are so tired. Good you came...we wouldn't last much longer, now we can soon rest. We really hope it won't kill you.
"Kill me?!" Kojo shouted at those unsettling words. Even if the spirit spoke with the warm caring voice of a mother now, it didn't make the words it said any better. The young Jedi looked around, he knew he wouldn't stand a change against...whatever he was facing, but he wouldn't surrender like this. With all his might he established a barrier around his mind, one that would have made his former master proud. Then the spirit pushed. As if it was nothing it washed away the barrier of the Jedi and forced itself into his mind. Images flashed behind Kojo's eyes, terrible ancient beasts, rituals of their creations, how someone used the force to create creatures he had never seen before, the power of the dark side as he had never thought it possible and a man with grey hair and beard and orange eyes, who wore a big golden talisman on his chest. When his image appeared a searing wave of hate followed, then another image when he stood above Kojo with an arrogant grind, a bloody scroll in his hands. It strained his mind to the brink of collapsing, terrible pain seered through his head, but then it subsided and there were a few last words before he faded from consciousness.
Good fish, strong fish, grow, be a leviathan, carry one our work...
Then the voice faded and Kojo Tirr passed into dark dreams for a long time in the blackness of the ancient laboratory.
Days later he emerged. Different...more. He had experienced the dark side in it's full potential, he had seen the ancient sith alchemy and how the dark side was able to create life and he had learned this ancient knowledge. He was no Jedi anymore, not pure and not devoted to only one side anymore.

This shall be the little story of the former Jedi Kojo Tirr so far, I have more planned for him, so if you enjoyed this you can hope for more at a point.
I hope you enjoyed the pic as well as reading my little story, at this point I might state that I'm not as firm with Star Wars anymore since most of the old canon got thrown overboard by Disney, so if something doesn't entirely end up I hope you understand, but I would like to know then as well.
Further if you would tell me what you think it would help me a huge deal! Thank you in advance and have a great day!
