Iβve had this finished for awhile now I just never got around to submitting it. Itβs Belldandy in Gothic Lolita.
I tried to make it similar to her style hope it looks like something she would actually wear.Belldandy is copyrighted to the makers of Oh My Goddess.
Art copyrighted to me.
Approximately 10 hours- the background took an hour.

Pretty good overall...
However, the black gothic lolita outfit (well, at least the color) does not seem to go well with the overall bright and vibrant tone of this picture (i.e. the relatively yellow-green, green, and blue-green colros of the forest). Aside from that, the rendition of the fabric folds look really awesome.
The wings look nice as always, but they probably need to stand out a bit more in terms of color.
I do not know if it is necessary to mention this, but the perspective of the bench is a bit off.
Nevertheless, from your past works, you are already an "expert" in gothic lolita fashion.

Hi,
I am a new comer and I would like to start drawing....I guess some people would say that I am not that bad but I would rather be better....So I was wondering do you think you could use the girl and make a drawing with her standing up in a long dress to make it a little easier on me to try and draw it??? I haven't tried sitting yet and I'd like to take it one step at a time. if you can't that is fine, but if you can that would be great!!!

Black + happy colours, beauty + faceplanting due to dress, smile + melancholy(i.e.: the dress. And the faceplants) and black + white.
Quite nicely done; must of thought about those bits too.

Now to get the image of Belldandy faceplanting time and again out of the head. Even though it is fun enough to make me fall over laughing.
Misery: Clean art, well thought out. And you had a few copies of the manga with you to capture the feel of the character.
Good show; the pic captures the character quite well. Just a good thing no animals were in the pic; it would be not too cool.
As to the art in itself: -ing lot of shading work, I gather. Not to mention all the little folds and the white ruche(or whatever it's called) on the dress. Makes it seem as if she hasn't quite settled and rubbed away all those small things. Good job.

I love how you did the background, especially the bright colors used. Great job with Belldandy and I think that style of dress suits her well, even if the color is totally unlike her. But that's what you were going for, ne? ^_^ You made all those wrinkles look nice. I'd butcher the dress for sure...
