Description
Kyroterodi
I spotted a strange sight during the sunniest parts of the day, a long teal coloured snake that had thick feathers instead of scales. It usually kept it burrowed under the snow to hunt and hide from predators and I have yet to see the full length of one, but the head of the specimen I saw was approximately 5 inches snout to the end of its skull. They like to bask in the sun but so not to expose themselves to danger or windchill their mainly sun their head and routinely swap out parts of its coils so they can warm up entirely.
Empyelinap
This medium sized approx. 8 feet long from snout to tail seems to be a scavenger or at least an opportunistic hunter. When fighting they use their sharp claws and balance on their tail to rear back and land more powerful hits with their back legs and hard hooves. If needing to escape they will buck a nearby tree creating a sudden avalanche of snow from the tree tops and getting away in the confusion. Their broad hairy tails are strong enough to support their weight but also cover their tracks to elude predators as they sweep it side to side as they walk.
