I was totally torn about whether or not to wait until the first pages wereup to submit the cover, but... Well, I figured I'd go ahead. Having the
cover up will push me harder to hurry and finish the first update.
Anyways, here it is! It's actually been drawn for one whole year (this
month!) but I just now finished the colors. That wolf has been biding his
time in my journal layout. lol Now he lives on the cover here and as the
placeholder image at valecomic.com ! It's actually coming together, I
can't believe it. There's an official website, so my life is irrevocably bound
to this project now, right?? I'll post in my journal when the first update
goes up!

i really love this!! it's intense but still elegant at the same time. i think it's a great cover... it makes me want to know more about your character and world, that's for sure.

Btw, where do these symbols come from? (in the banner at the bottom) is that an existing language or font? Or did you come up with it? *ignorant*

I made it up! It's got a bit of influence from the illumination of the Lindisfarne Gospels, but less structural and more fluid. I basically made up a bunch of symbols that have significance to me for the story.

It's literally fitting for the "SOON" meme. You could have just put that wolf head in the darkness with "SOON" written, ominous and terrifying XD
