Lucas is one of my skeleton original character. He didn't know he had a twin sister. His soul is two different colors do to him having been born with half a soul and to be save his father Cyrus made the decision to use his sister's soul who also was born with half a soul to save him. Cyrus thought there was no other way to save his son he didn't care about his daughter leaving the women who gave birth to them in the dark.
