Pokémon Legends Arceus 2nd Year Anniversary is Here, and I did something very interesting. I will say that this may be my favorite picture I made for Pokémon. This different route I took is how the Hisuian Starters are kind of based on Weapons. Yeah, it’s a stretch with Typhlosion but I still like what I did here. Here are some shot-by-shot facts.

Rei, Decidueye, & A Bow and Arrow! So I decided to pair Rei with Decidueye even before Masters gave Rei a Decidueye. I saw it fit Rei more since Rei is actually a more shy person if you play as the Girl Character. Why is that important? Because of how I think he would if wielding weapons was more seen in Pokémon. Archers need to be at a distance, far away from anyone. Rei, when playing as the girl, is the player character who is the timid one of the player characters. Yes, Akari is scared too, but she is a lot more aggressive than Rei is. So, Rei may just fit being an Archer. Also, the Decidueye Rei is Shiny because I like the Shiny. It also relates to a pattern I did, but you'll see soon. And it's also a second theme for this. And I made Rei left-handed. … Why? We need a left-hand protagonist.

Akari, Samurott, & A Sword! As mentioned before, Akari is the brasher and front person of the Fallers. If playing the Boy character, she is almost like Beni but knows when to tone it back for her friendship. Again, I decided that Akari would have Samurott before Masters gave her that (Also, it’s very confusing on if Rei is Lucas now because of Masters, thanks a lot). But I also think Samurott is the Best Starter to use in Arceus since the Water typing is useful for 3 Pokémon Bosses, including being the best starter for Hisuian Zoroark. This pose here though. I may not be that good with humans, but this pose was hard to get her in. As for the sword, again, she is the more energetic of the two Hisui Protagonists. Along with the more, “I’m going head first into fighting Wild Pokémon!” type of person. I also made the Samurott behind her a girl. Have you figured out the pattern yet? And if you need to know Akari is right-handed here.

Ingo, Typhlosion, & Fire Manipulation?! Yes, I gave Ingo the Hardest Starter to use in Hisui. But Hisuian Typhlosion’s flames are purple and the only Ghost-Fire Type, don't take this away from me. Also, I think Ingo should have had a Hisuian Typhlosion on his Alpha Team from the Start. Yes, the Alpha Team is based on new Evolutions of Old Pokémon, but come on, let me have this. Anyways, if I gave Akari and Rei weapons, what would our Lost Soul Ingo have? You're looking at it. We have a Swordsman, an Archer, and a Mage. Yep, that's what I did. But no one in Pokémon can actually manipulate fire besides Pokémon themselves. It's actually Typhlosion here. Yeah to make the picture look good, I made it look like Ingo was doing it, but he's actually not doing it. He's also in his iconic pose, with flames around him. Also, his Typhlosion is an Alpha.

If you need to know what the pattern is, the pattern is that each starter is not the Normal starter. Rei has a Shiny Starter, Akari has a Female Starter, and Ingo has an Alpha Starter. So yeah. This is what I did for this Anniversary. Also, I will be posting this on my Tumblr and a SubReddit.
