A couple months ago before the events of Egghead Island Arc in Fusion Chronicles Dr. Vegapunk was collecting junk from different parts of Maku Island until he stumble upon Penny's old body he took Penny's body knowing the fine craftsmanship of her mechanism it took awhile but Penny is fully operational and her new home is Future City. Back in the present day Piplup, Metabee, Thespio, Lightning Bliss, and Arthur were happy to see Penny again but where confused how she's still alive and how she's back in her robotic body only for them to find out the sad truth she may have the same personality, weaponry, and catchphrase but the thing is she's not the same Penny they knew which explains her not having any memories of them. Dr. Vegapunk found her body missing a power source or a soul in Penny's case so he created an artificial heart to keep her alive due to Dr. Vegapunk's fear of Cyn finding him he would give Penny a special firewall program to prevent her from getting hacked. Penny would join the Starlight Crusaders during the events of Egghead Island Arc she may not be the same Penny they all knew and love but she promise to make sure to make it up to them.
