Description
Oakleaf was born to Dawnlake and Hawktalon. She started her training as a warrior to follow her fathers footsteps, but it never felt right for her.. she deep down wanted to help her clan a different way, through the path of a medicine cat. But how could she possibly tell this to her parents, they would be so disappointed in her. Her brother, Pineleaf, was of course the perfect warrior that she could never be, but that never hurt her. She began to carefully watch the current medicine cat at the time, and by her sixth moon, she knew more than any other cat did about herbs, and what they were used for. Then, the battle of the water ledge began, she fought bravely but because she never payed attention to her warrior training she was hurt in battle by a riverclan warrior. This caused her to have a scare which for some time prevented her for healing. She got close to the medicine cat, and eventually, was asked to become one herself. She had finally accomplished her dream, even if that dream mean’t loosing falconclaw, who she knew she would have a hard time to not like him as she did.

This is one of my favourite Windclan side characters. This is a real issue I have, I always create such detailed characters and end up loving them. Her design I must say, is much better than the one of have of her in my old sketchbook from early 2020. She is one of my favourite medicine cats in my fan series and I love that she wasn’t forced to become one because of her scar which is what a lot of the cats in the actual series seem to have, not that I’m criticizing the amazing characters that are already in the actual series. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this drawing for warriors Wednesday! I can’t wait to show you all Friday’s dragon expressions! They are awesome and I love them so much!
