So yesterday (Dec 11 2022) the choir I sing in had a concert. I drew this little picture for the invitation. It contains quite a little symbolism: Three candles because it was third advent and we're a choir singing in three voices. The musical notes in the smoke are basically the beginning of a song we performed and also meant to represent the three voices. However, drawing them on staves in the smokes looked incredibly stupid so I went with the free-floating version - although every voice looks the same then.

The song is a musical setting of the poem "Närrische Träume" ("Foolish Dreams") by Gustav Falke, composed by Peter Schindler for choirs in three voices.

I really hate the blotches my editing left on the background, however, I felt like getting to the point where I couldn't make it any better. It was hard to begin with: My scanner ate the colours to an amount that the results where trash and my camera seems to darken and blur everything I try to capture ... dunno if that thing is finally getting old and losing quality or if I just need better lighting equipment...
