As the title suggests, and as I've said a once or twice recently, these last few weeks have been hectic for me. Like, really hectic. The most hectic things have been in a while. A lot going on. Nothing major and nothing bad, I'll say that much. Don't worry, I'm happy and healthy, just a tad stressed with the everyday stuff. Anyway! Let's get you all up to speed, shall we?

Things should level out for me over the next week, and I'll have a bit more spare time. We'll start with the most important thing, something that a few of you would like to hear about: The Huniepop OC Contest. Link below for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about.

Huniepop OC Contest (Core Membership Prize)Alrighty! I don't know about some of you guys and girls, but I'm getting pretty excited about the release of Huniepop 2 later this year. A few of you will already know I'm quite the avid supporter, especially since I write my 'Huniepop Problems' fanfiction series, which has an original protagonist in the form of Mike Winters. On that note, I'd like open a small competition for the Huniepop fanbase! Just a little fun, but I am offering a prize, maybe two. We'll see.I want you ladies and gentleman to show me your finest Huniepop OC characters. You can draw them as art pieces, and, if you like, add Huniepop-style profiles for them. It's up to...

Our entries have been counted, and we have five lovely pieces to choose from. I say we as in the royal we, but I might have a friend help me judge them. I haven't decided yet, anyway. The contest is officially closed for new submissions.

However, I will allow people who are already entered to change their submission if they so wish it. You have until the end of the week for that one. So... a quick message for all of our contestants.

You've all done some great work here. The level of creativity I've seen has been fantastic!

Now I'm going to spend some time looking over your art pieces, and like I said, maybe have a friend of mine look over them, too. I'll try to announce the winner by the end of the month. If not, a little after! If anyone else likes the idea of these contests then let me know, and I'll try my best to host another one in future. Now that's out of the way, let's get to the bit about writing!

My updates on the writing front have been very sparse until now. It took me a while, but I made time this past weekend and pushed through. I'm tired for it, and I really should have gotten more sleep, but I pushed through. I'm one of those people that has to feel productive to some capacity, even if it's just something small, or I start to get restless. The mind always has to be busy.

So, what did I get done? The newest chapter of Violet Tear is up, alongside an update for my Fire Emblem story, Promise.

Now... where do we go from here? As I said a moment ago, I should have a little more free time after this week, so it's going to be Huniepop. I really have to focus on Huniepop. Ideas have been bouncing around my head literally forever for a new Supernova chapter, but I also want to get to work on a new chapter of Relationship Problems or Envy Problems, so it's likely going to be one of those three.

Oh and it goes without saying that I want to update more Violet Tear, too. I'll reach a certain point, probably in a few chapters time, and take a bit of a long-term break from that one, but until then I'm going to carry on. It's a big story, and for those of you who are reading, we're only a little past the first part of the first arc.

That said, I'd still love to hear your thoughts and opinions on developments so far, if you are following along. The character poll is also still up for those of you who'd like to vote. What are you enjoying so far? Is there something you think should be changed or improved for the future? All feedback is welcome and greatly appriciated. Critical feedback helps me grow and improve.
