CrystalPhoenixBlader here, bringing in another chapter to the fanfic! To believe this is the fiftieth chapter.. it’s almost been a year since I started, huh? And I’m not backing down! Well, anyway, the Floral Field Forest Arc has now begun decently, and with Bowser and Saya on the loose, things are gonna get intense if things don’t go as planned! ..Well, anyway, disclaimer time: I do not own any of the Mario characters or the iDOLMASTER characters; the Mario characters belong to Nintendo and the iDOLMASTER characters belong to Namco Bandai. In addition, the characters “Reiji Arisu”, “Xiaomu” and “Saya” belong to Namco Bandai and Monolift Soft. Also, the character “Boshi” belongs to Nintendo and Square Enix. With all that out of the way, let’s return to the fields!

Chapter 50
The Tragedy of Kamek; The DK Space and the Piranha Plant
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
*Insert Theme: “Athletic Theme” (Yoshi’s Island)*
The party was off to a quick start as Yukiho and Yoshi quickly took their turns in proper fashion without any trouble. In the meanwhile, Reiji and Xiaomu decide to begin their patrol for anything way out of the ordinary, carefully looking around.
“Xiaomu, you know the drill, right?” Reiji eyed his partner as he kept his weapons gripped.
“Yep, keep an eye out in case any of Bowser’s goons come in to try and kidnap one of the girls or Princess Peach again!” Xiaomu cheerfully answered before one began ticking in her mind. “You know, Reiji, I’m pretty surprised how easy it was for us to reason with that Boshi character...”
“Hmmm... I never thought the situation could be easily handled by Haruka Amami or Yayoi Takatsuki...” Reiji closed his eyes of that very moment that occurred earlier...
*FLASHBACK*
*SOME TIME EARLIER...*
(Hibiki) “Pak E. Derm?”
(Boshi) “But you leave him to me, BUT... you HAVE to give me Yoshi Cookies in return!”
At that very moment after Boshi’s demand, Haruka and Yayoi stepped forward. “You can have the Yoshi Cookies we made if you like!” Boshi grew a little curious of the two Idols until Producer-san stepped in to reason. “Don’t doubt Haruka when it comes to her cooking skill! The same goes for Yayoi.”
Boshi then accepted the basket and took a look at the freshly baked Yoshi Cookies before trying one out. After eating just one, his eyes began to water with joy. “Th... this is... DELICIOUS!!! And you just baked them?!”
“Haruka and Yayoi just learned the recipe from Tayce T., so this is the first time they made them.” Yoshi talked to his former rival. Yayoi stepped forward. “If you like, Boshi-san, you can have ALL of them!”
Satisfied with the delicious snacks, the convinced blue Yoshi stood up and looked at Yoshi with a confident smile. “Yoshi, I don’t know how you met these girls, nor do I care, but man, these Yoshi Cookies they made are the best I’ve ever tasted! So, you’ve got my help with Pak E. Derm!” The two Yoshis then shook hands, signifying that the deal is done.
*END FLASHBACK*
*PRESENT TIME..*
Seeing Boshi on standby while chewing on some Yoshi Cookies left by Haruka and Yayoi was enough to make the Sage Fox think for a moment as she held Suiren on standby. However, when Iori stepped on a Green ‘?’ Space did the fox girl take notice when the pesky Pak E. Derm dropped in from nowhere and began to block her way.
*THUD!!!*
*End Theme, Insert Theme:
“Ugh... HEY! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!” Iori shouted angrily, to no avail as the annoying pachyderm ignored her. Just then, Boshi appeared with a glint on his sunglasses. “Yo, girlfriend of Yoshi! Need me to help get that pest out of the way? For five Coins, I might just do that!”
“Whatever, just do something! ...And don’t call me his girlfriend!” Iori shouted before going into a blushed mutter. Grinning, Boshi jumped into the air and performed a Ground Pound near the pachyderm. The force of the Ground Pound was enough to topple the unstable small elephant, making him fall on his head with a yelp.
“Better move fast, before he gets himself back up!” Boshi suggested to Iori, which he took by climbing on the pachyderm and hopping off before it got itself up. Hibiki’s jaw dropped and was left on broken hinges of the sight of the small elephant with a large stop sign. “So Boshi was right...”

As the competition continued, Moyoshi began to feel nostalgic as Mario and Luigi began to take their turns.
“Are you alright, dear?” Chief Yoshi turned to his beloved wife.
Moyoshi regained her senses as she turned to her chubby responsible husband. “Mghm? Oh, yes, darling. I just couldn't help but keep my excitement in after seeing Mario again. You and our old friends weren't the only ones who were euphoric about this unexpected reunion, you know.”
Chief Yoshi agreed as he closed his eyes. “Ah, yes. At first, before they introduced themselves, I didn't recognized them. But after all those years, they've grown into proud adult men just like my boy. I think we did the right thing.”

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Sky*
In the distance, however, Kamek was listening in the conversation, looking at the two Yoshis through his telescope and was beginning to look really upset.
*Insert Theme: “The Blue Wizard” (Paper Mario: Sticker Star)*
“’You think you did the right thing.’ Raaugh!” The Magikoopa screamed before throwing aside his telescope in a rage, as he was gritting his teeth. “How could you still be alive after all these years?! I thought you and your friends would be fossils already... ‘The right thing?’ You would've done it if you have given Mario to me as I demanded you to in the first place! And look what's happened! All of His Gloriousness's defeats by those two were your responsibility! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! ... Just thinking back on all these just make me wanna' weep... how could I ever forget you...?!”

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Prince Bowser’s Castle ~ Kamek’s Chamber ~ YEARS AGO*
*Insert Theme: “Kamek’s Theme” (Yoshi’s Island)*
A younger Kamek asked for the then Koopa Prince, Bowser, when he was known as Baby Bowser at the time, to his room as he readied his crystal ball for some divination. “My prince, I'm glad you could come. I wanted to show you something...”
“Dis beddah be good, Kamek, I wanna see mo cawtooooons!” Baby Bowser whined impatiently, with a drop of mucus sticking out of his nostril.
Kamek then showed to to the young Koopa a glimpse in the future at his older self. “This is about your future, Young Master. Years from now- you will become ruler of all the koopas and lead a massive legion of your forces to rule all you desire!”
“Woooow! Ah wook sah big ang stwong!” Baby Bowser yipped happily, but then Kamek began to give a serious face. “However...”
Baby Bowser stopped cheering and looked at the Koopa wizard. “Wha...? Wha is it, Kamek?”
“However, there is a major problem that shall ruin your plans...” Kamek informed the future Koopa King as his crystal ball then showed the images of a short stocky man with a red cap, red shirt, and blue overalls, along with a somewhat taller man with a green hat, green shirt, and dark blue overalls, both of them having bushy mustaches on their faces.
“What? Who ah dos wed an gween guys wid dah big noses?” Baby Bowser asked in confusion, to which Kamek promptly answered. “Their names are Mario and Luigi, defenders of the Mushroom Kingdom. They are the ones who will ruin all your plans in the future...”
Baby Bowser began to panic of this imminent threat that would cost him greatly. “Wha?! Nooooo! Kamek! Do sumdiiiiin!”
“Rest assured, Young Master, as they are ripe at the moment- and they will be destroyed!” Kamek smirked as he grabbed his broom and flew out the door.
*FLASHBACK SWITCH*
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Night Sky*
The stork was carrying two twin brothers by tits beak when Kamek swooped by. Seizing the opportunity, the Magikoopa made a loud screech as he flew full speed toward the bird. “HYAAAAAAAAAA, THE BABIES ARE MINE!”
*WHAM!!*
One of the babies was taken from the stork’s bill by Kamek as he made his escape with blinding speed, while the second fell into a lone island in the open sea...
*FLASHBACK SWITCH*
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Prince Bowser’s Castle ~ Kamek’s Chamber*
Kamek delighted in the success in the kidnapping, when he realized that one baby was takne, he was aghast.
“AAAAAAAAAAK! No! I missed the other baby! Toadies! Come! That other baby must be out there somewhere! Find him and kidnap him!” Kamek cried out and gave his orders to four Toadies, who flew out in a frantic search for the missing Baby Mario.

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Burt the Bashful’s Fort*
*Insert Theme: “Mini Boss” (Yoshi’s Island)*
Kamek flew inside the deepest part of the fort where he saw Baby Mario with a group of Yoshis in the colors of green, pink, red, yellow, blue, purple, light blue, and brown.
“Ohhh, there you are, Baby Mario. We've been looking for you!” Kamek smirked happily, to which drew the notice of the younger Chief Yoshi. (Obviously the green one.)
“Who are you, stranger?” The green Yoshi asked, to which the Magi koopa promptly answered. “This Magikoopa doesn't have time tell everything about himself... but you may call me Kamek.”
“Kamek?” The young Moyoshi responded. (Obviously the pink Yoshi for those who don’t know.)
“Yes... Now, good Yoshis, if you would be so generous and polite- please give the baby to me.” Kamek demanded, enough for the green Yoshi to become suspicious. “Hmmm... What do you need this baby for?”
“Dear Yoshi, that's none of important business for you to know.” Kamek answered, making the Yoshi even more suspicious. The forlorn look on Baby Mario’s face in one direction as well as Kamek’s claim added to the fact to the Yoshi that the Magikoopa was not to be trusted.
“I'm not liking this guy's attitude... Sorry, but our answer is, ‘No.’” The young Chief Yoshi gave his answer, which shocked Kamek. “WHA- WHAT DID YOU SAY, YOSHI?!”
The green Yosho then gave his reason with a stern face. “I'm suspecting you have the baby's twin brother with you and I'm also feeling you're not a good person at heart! Am I right, everyone?”
“Yeah!!” The other Yoshis agree unanimously without question, which was enough to tick off Kamek. “You insolent dinos! How dare you defy us! You will all regret this! Toadies! Attack!” Afterwards, a battle with some Toadies, as well as enhanced versions of ordinary enemies powered up by Kamek’s magic ensued...

*FLASHBACK SWITCH*
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Prince Bowser’s Castle ~ Baby Bowser’s Room*
*Insert Theme: “Room Before the Boss” (Yoshi’s Island)*
The Yoshis, still carrying Baby Mario, pursued the Magikoopa, until they finally managed to corner in a dark room. The future chief then exclaimed. “We finally got you cornered, Kamek. There's no way out.”
Desperately, Kamek began to shout. “YOU! You are n-not welcome HERE! Yoshi, PLEASE HAND OVER THE BABY!” ...The Magikoopa may have shouted a little too loud, as a loud yawn from Baby Bowser resonated throughout the room. The then Koopa Prince then stared at the Koopa wizard with a grumpy gaze.
*End Theme with Record Scratch sound*
“Oh, dear... What to do... Young Master Bowser wakes...” Kamek panicked as he began to sweat like crazy at the rudely awakened Koopa Prince.
“Kamek, it's too noisy in here!! I wanna go sweepy-byyye!!!” Baby Bowser grumpily complained before moving toward the Magikoopa.
“M-My prince! I-I-I’m sorr—“ Kamek tried to apologize, but...
*THONK!* “Gyah!”
*DONK!* “Guah!”
*BOOOOMM!!* “GAAAA-ooowww...!!!” (That’s gotta hurt...)
After kicking Kamek’s completely flattened body aside, Baby Bowser began to notice the green Yoshi.
*Insert Theme: “Big Boss” (Yoshi’s Island)*
“Huh?? Hmm?!!? Mmmmm!!!!?! Wha kinda gween donkey is dat? Wooks wyke fun! Me wanna wi-ide!!! MINE!! MINE!!!” Baby Bowser shouted as he attempted to ride the young Chief Yoshi like a bucking bronco. While the crazy battle between the Ysohis and Baby Bowser ensued, with Chief Yoshi’s grunts and Baby Mario’s excessively loud crying, , Kamek inflated himself back to his normal size and staggered on the floor.
“Uuuurrroooghhh...” The Magikoopa shook the stars off the top of his head as he got on his broom, much too late as Baby Bowser was beaten.
“BWAAAAAHHH!!!” The Koopa Prince cried as his chin hit the floor, enough to make Kamek upset when he saw the young lord defeated.
“*Gasp!* Yoshi, why would you do this?!?!?! Young Master, let me help you! Here!” Kamek screamed before quickly using his magic to make the Koopa Prince larger. The Koopa wizard may have been a bit overzealous with the attempt, as the growing size of the Koopa heir blew the castle apart for inside out.

*FLASHBACK SWITCH*
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Castle Remnants*
*Insert Theme: “Baby Bowser” (Yoshi’s Island)*
Baby Bowser had grown to an immense size as it seemed to threaten to mindlessly destroy the very foothills of rubble from where the Yoshis stood, and even caused chunks of the earth around it to rise up as it roared and fall down to crush whatever debris it hit. What was worse was that the giant baby was firing huge fireballs straight at the Yoshis. The Yoshis ddoged while pondering on how to deal with the dire situation. As if by chance, the young Chief Yoshi spotted a couple of balloon creatures known as Baron von Zeppelins carrying giant red spotted Yoshi Eggs. Taking the initiative, Chief Yoshi grabbed the large egg, and, with very careful aim, hurled the egg on the giant Baby Bowser’s face, making him move backward. The other Yoshis are wowed by their leader’s unflinching determination as he dodged more falling boulders and fireballs while the large Koopa inched ever closer. Not backing down, Chief Yoshi continued to pelt Baby Bowser with the large eggs, until the giant completely stopped moving and the magic began to lose its effect entirely.

When the dust settled, the Yoshis stood victorious as Baby Bowser, clearly back to normal, plummet to the floor with a thud.
“Gwaaaa-OWIEEEEE!!!” The Koopa prince yelped as he hit the ground, enough for the Yoshis to cheer of their victory and for Kamek to gasp in utter terror.
“. ... Mmmph... Bwa... B-WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH-HA-HA-HAAAAAAAA!!!” Baby Bowser erupted into tears, bringing utter misery to the Magikoopa as he too had tears when he looked at Chief Yoshi. “How dare you?! It's not fair... You're such a meanie... Someday... We will be back... Waaaaaah...” Without hesitation, Kamek swooped up Baby Bowser and retreated into the moonlight, with his voice echoing loud as the Yoshis leapt to where Baby Luigi was. “You and your friends will dearly for all this! I WON'T FORGET THIS!!! WAAAAAAAAAAHHH- MOM'S GONNA CHEW ME OUT FOR THIS...!”

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest ~ PRESENT DAY*
*Insert Theme: “The Blue Wizard” (Paper Mario: Sticker Star)*
After recalling all the bitter memories from years back, Kamek sadly frowned at the result he had to experience. “*Sniiiiiff* And what a toungelash Mother gave... the young master's delicate body bruised and bandaged! I messed everything up to secure the king's good future... but those two and that... that... that YOSHI had to ruin all of it...!!!” Kamek stopped for a moment as he looked and realized of what became of Chief Yoshi now. “Wait...” The Magikoopa decided to halt his movement for a bit to think, and realized one thing. “Goomnuts, you gotten fat, freak. And you're probably unfit to fight us... Maybe... maybe all these years apart were worth something after all!” With a maniacal chuckle, Kamek decided on what his course of action will be for the time being. “I... I have to get Mother on this! Hehehehaaaahahahahaha!!!” With that, the Magikoopa flew off, back to the castle ruins, his laugh heard in the far distance.
Xiaomu heard the voice somewhat as she was looking around, gripping her swordstick frimly.
“Xiaomu, did you notice something??” Reiji, quick to respond, asked his partner.
“I could’ve sworn I just heard a voice.... maybe I’m just overreacting...” The Sage Fox frowned.
“Anyway, we have to make sure none of the girls gets kidnapped this time while keeping an eye out for Saya, you hear me?” Reiji gave his orders, to which his partner understood. Eagerly. “Sure thing, Reiji! If any of these cronies of this so-called Koopa King show up, I’ll give them a Xiaomu Drill followed by a Xiaomu Kick!”
“..I’m still wondering if you made those moves up or not...” The zebra haired Shinra agent deadpanned as his gloved hand again met his face as he saw Ryou and Magikoopa end their turns without incident.
Just then, when it came to Ritsuko’s turn, after hitting her Dice Block, she somehow landed on a space that had DK’s initials...
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “DK’s Theme” (Mario Party 6)*
“Hoohoo! Ritsuko, you just stepped on my space! “ Donkey Kong shouted happily as he flexed his muscles.
“You.. YOUR space? Don’t tell me it’s anything like Bowser’s.” Ritsuko groaned, but the gargantuan ape shook a finger.
“Nonsense!! If anything, it’s the complete OPPOSITE of what Bowser brings out!” DK smiled from his wooden stage with a single microphone stage with a banana motif. “From my space, I can either let you have a DK Bonus, a mini game where you and your buddies collect Bananas, and a DK Roulette! And it is all decided by this baby right here!” With that, the necktie wearing ape shows a wheel showing the choices in evenly fashion. With that, the ape began to spin the whell. The wheel then spun around and around until it began to slow to a stop, showing the DK Roulette.
“Ah, the roulette! We both each roll one Dice Block! Let’s see if you can get a higher number than mine!” DK smiled as one Dice Block hovered and spun over his head. The ape hit to reveal an 8.
“Whoa, this si going to be tough...” Ritsuko gulped as she readied herself to hit the block. When the bespectacled producer it the block, it revealed... a 10!
“Wow... what are the chances? Well, anyway, I lost, so here’s your prize, Ritsuko... one free Star!” Dk smiled before handing the Star to Ritsuko, who stood dumbfounded.
“What?! You’re just giving me that?! Seriously?!” Ritsuko stood speechless, while Dk gave his reason. “All sorts of joy can be found with my space, which is more than I can say for Bowser. Anyway, don’t be a stranger!” With that, the ape grabbed a vine and swung out of sight.
“That... was really nice of him....” Iori stood bewildered, while Yoshi shrugged.
*End Theme*
Meanwhile, while the participants were doing their part in the party, the rest of the group began to look at a green white-spotted big lipped toothless Piranha Plant who was clearly minding its own business.
“Eeeugh... what is that ugly plant thing...? Nano..” Miki groaned, thinking of how gross the creature might with it skin.
“Whoa, never seen this species of Piranha Plant before...” Toad thought for a moment, which grabbed Ayane’s attention, thinking of Dino Piranha. “Piranha Plant? You mean like that big weird dinosaur alien hatchling back from space?”
“Hey, this looks like one of the Gemini Piranha Vorbubuds, or GPV's, from Proffessor Shy-ler's documentation.” Shy Guy responded as he looked at the creature, making Toadette curious in the process. “You KNOW something about that thing, Shy Guy?”
The masked character then gave a brief explanation to the group. “ll I know from Prof. Shy-ler's documentation is that these weird things have digestive acids that disintegrate bugs only to get its nutrients and they got a second head on the other end, plus require pure water to survive. Despite the messy encounter he and his subordinates had, it's actually 100% harmless.” ..Of course, Reiji was pretty doubtful as he gave a serious look at Shy Guy. “100 percent harmless? That's veeeery comforting for something with the word, "Piranha." What kind of messy encounter would that be, I wonder.”
“Aww, Reiji! I'm sure that it's not like anything you're thinking.” Xiaomu curtly smirked as she stuck her arm near the mouth of the Piranha Plant, who quickly looked at the mischievous Sage Fox. “Besides, what harm could plants like this guy do to anyone?”
Reiji, beginning to sweat bullets, began to shout. “Xiaomu... GET... AWAY... FROM THAT THING.” But too late did the warning come as the toothless creature clamp its jaw on Xiaomu and began to suck her inside..
“Eugh... Hey! That kinda' tickles. See, Reiji? No harm here done. ... ...Uh, you can let go of me now.” Xiaomu smiled before beginning to notice that creature was simply not going to let her go. And to add salt to the open wound, Shy Guy added one piece of info that came a little too late. “The documentation says they also have a habit of swallowing large beings with its powerful gripping strength.”
*Insert Theme: “Stop, Thief!” (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity)*
Xiaomu’s arm was sucked to the shoulder as she screamed at Shy Guy. “UWAH! Now you're just telling us?!” Before the Sage Fox ember of Shinra noticed, tshe was sucked in up to the chest. “MMPH MMMHMHMHMM!”
“XIAOMU!!!” Reiji, suddenly alert to the situation, shouted as he quickly grabbed Xiaomu’s legs. “Geez, why!” ..Unfortunately, the grip of the jaw was the superior as it pulled Reiji in along with Xiaomu. “WHOA!”
*Gulp!* The creature swallowed the Shinra duo as they bulged underground.

“They got eaten!” Toad and Toadette screamed, but somehow, Shy guy very calm as he spoke. “Don't worry about them, the doc said that when larger victims are consumed, the other head will regurgitate them out of its Cropper.” Knowing exactly what the plant’s “Cropper” is, Ayane and Miki had only one thing to say... “EW!!!!”
*Inside the Piranha*
Xiaomu opened her eyes to see what seems to be the inside of the Gemini Piranha Vorbubud. “... Well, I really wasn't expecting this.” As the Sage Fox stood up, she then looked at her superior. “Hey, Reiji? It may be cramped and slimy in here, but isn't it also hot and steamy in here--?”
“Xiaomuuuu, you IDIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!” Reiji ,clearly upset and covered in Piranha Plant saliva shouted in red hot anger before hitting the blundering Sage Fox with a flurry of punches.
*Insert Sound Effect: “Fail Horn”*
Oh Xiaomu, such a lovable goofball, but anyway, that’s the end of the chapter. Kamek is surely wanting revenge on Chief Yoshi for what has happened years ago, and with the rotund dinosaur not physically fit anymore, this could spell trouble. No Bowser/Saya side bit this time, but I hope I can put it within the next chapter...

At that very moment after Boshi’s demand, Haruka and Yayoi stepped forward. “You can have the Yoshi Cookies we made if you like!” Boshi grew a little curious of the two Idols until Producer-san stepped in to reason. “Don’t doubt Haruka when it comes to her cooking skill! The same goes for Yayoi.”
Boshi then accepted the basket and took a look at the freshly baked Yoshi Cookies before trying one out. After eating just one, his eyes began to water with joy. “Th... this is... DELICIOUS!!! And you just baked them?!”
“Haruka and Yayoi just learned the recipe from Tayce T., so this is the first time they made them.” Yoshi talked to his former rival. Yayoi stepped forward. “If you like, Boshi-san, you can have ALL of them!”
Satisfied with the delicious snacks, the convinced blue Yoshi stood up and looked at Yoshi with a confident smile. “Yoshi, I don’t know how you met these girls, nor do I care, but man, these Yoshi Cookies they made are the best I’ve ever tasted! So, you’ve got my help with Pak E. Derm!” The two Yoshis then shook hands, signifying that the deal is done.

*PRESENT TIME..*
Seeing Boshi on standby while chewing on some Yoshi Cookies left by Haruka and Yayoi was enough to make the Sage Fox think for a moment as she held Suiren on standby. However, when Iori stepped on a Green ‘?’ Space did the fox girl take notice when the pesky Pak E. Derm dropped in from nowhere and began to block her way.
*THUD!!!*

“Ugh... HEY! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!” Iori shouted angrily, to no avail as the annoying pachyderm ignored her. Just then, Boshi appeared with a glint on his sunglasses. “Yo, girlfriend of Yoshi! Need me to help get that pest out of the way? For five Coins, I might just do that!”
“Whatever, just do something! ...And don’t call me his girlfriend!” Iori shouted before going into a blushed mutter. Grinning, Boshi jumped into the air and performed a Ground Pound near the pachyderm. The force of the Ground Pound was enough to topple the unstable small elephant, making him fall on his head with a yelp.
“Better move fast, before he gets himself back up!” Boshi suggested to Iori, which he took by climbing on the pachyderm and hopping off before it got itself up. Hibiki’s jaw dropped and was left on broken hinges of the sight of the small elephant with a large stop sign. “So Boshi was right...”

As the competition continued, Moyoshi began to feel nostalgic as Mario and Luigi began to take their turns.
“Are you alright, dear?” Chief Yoshi turned to his beloved wife.
Moyoshi regained her senses as she turned to her chubby responsible husband. “Mghm? Oh, yes, darling. I just couldn't help but keep my excitement in after seeing Mario again. You and our old friends weren't the only ones who were euphoric about this unexpected reunion, you know.”
Chief Yoshi agreed as he closed his eyes. “Ah, yes. At first, before they introduced themselves, I didn't recognized them. But after all those years, they've grown into proud adult men just like my boy. I think we did the right thing.”

In the distance, however, Kamek was listening in the conversation, looking at the two Yoshis through his telescope and was beginning to look really upset.

“’You think you did the right thing.’ Raaugh!” The Magikoopa screamed before throwing aside his telescope in a rage, as he was gritting his teeth. “How could you still be alive after all these years?! I thought you and your friends would be fossils already... ‘The right thing?’ You would've done it if you have given Mario to me as I demanded you to in the first place! And look what's happened! All of His Gloriousness's defeats by those two were your responsibility! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! ... Just thinking back on all these just make me wanna' weep... how could I ever forget you...?!”

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Prince Bowser’s Castle ~ Kamek’s Chamber ~ YEARS AGO*
*Insert Theme: “Kamek’s Theme” (Yoshi’s Island)*
A younger Kamek asked for the then Koopa Prince, Bowser, when he was known as Baby Bowser at the time, to his room as he readied his crystal ball for some divination. “My prince, I'm glad you could come. I wanted to show you something...”
“Dis beddah be good, Kamek, I wanna see mo cawtooooons!” Baby Bowser whined impatiently, with a drop of mucus sticking out of his nostril.
Kamek then showed to to the young Koopa a glimpse in the future at his older self. “This is about your future, Young Master. Years from now- you will become ruler of all the koopas and lead a massive legion of your forces to rule all you desire!”
“Woooow! Ah wook sah big ang stwong!” Baby Bowser yipped happily, but then Kamek began to give a serious face. “However...”
Baby Bowser stopped cheering and looked at the Koopa wizard. “Wha...? Wha is it, Kamek?”
“However, there is a major problem that shall ruin your plans...” Kamek informed the future Koopa King as his crystal ball then showed the images of a short stocky man with a red cap, red shirt, and blue overalls, along with a somewhat taller man with a green hat, green shirt, and dark blue overalls, both of them having bushy mustaches on their faces.
“What? Who ah dos wed an gween guys wid dah big noses?” Baby Bowser asked in confusion, to which Kamek promptly answered. “Their names are Mario and Luigi, defenders of the Mushroom Kingdom. They are the ones who will ruin all your plans in the future...”
Baby Bowser began to panic of this imminent threat that would cost him greatly. “Wha?! Nooooo! Kamek! Do sumdiiiiin!”
“Rest assured, Young Master, as they are ripe at the moment- and they will be destroyed!” Kamek smirked as he grabbed his broom and flew out the door.

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Night Sky*
The stork was carrying two twin brothers by tits beak when Kamek swooped by. Seizing the opportunity, the Magikoopa made a loud screech as he flew full speed toward the bird. “HYAAAAAAAAAA, THE BABIES ARE MINE!”
*WHAM!!*
One of the babies was taken from the stork’s bill by Kamek as he made his escape with blinding speed, while the second fell into a lone island in the open sea...

Kamek delighted in the success in the kidnapping, when he realized that one baby was takne, he was aghast.
“AAAAAAAAAAK! No! I missed the other baby! Toadies! Come! That other baby must be out there somewhere! Find him and kidnap him!” Kamek cried out and gave his orders to four Toadies, who flew out in a frantic search for the missing Baby Mario.

*Insert Theme: “Mini Boss” (Yoshi’s Island)*
Kamek flew inside the deepest part of the fort where he saw Baby Mario with a group of Yoshis in the colors of green, pink, red, yellow, blue, purple, light blue, and brown.
“Ohhh, there you are, Baby Mario. We've been looking for you!” Kamek smirked happily, to which drew the notice of the younger Chief Yoshi. (Obviously the green one.)
“Who are you, stranger?” The green Yoshi asked, to which the Magi koopa promptly answered. “This Magikoopa doesn't have time tell everything about himself... but you may call me Kamek.”
“Kamek?” The young Moyoshi responded. (Obviously the pink Yoshi for those who don’t know.)
“Yes... Now, good Yoshis, if you would be so generous and polite- please give the baby to me.” Kamek demanded, enough for the green Yoshi to become suspicious. “Hmmm... What do you need this baby for?”
“Dear Yoshi, that's none of important business for you to know.” Kamek answered, making the Yoshi even more suspicious. The forlorn look on Baby Mario’s face in one direction as well as Kamek’s claim added to the fact to the Yoshi that the Magikoopa was not to be trusted.
“I'm not liking this guy's attitude... Sorry, but our answer is, ‘No.’” The young Chief Yoshi gave his answer, which shocked Kamek. “WHA- WHAT DID YOU SAY, YOSHI?!”
The green Yosho then gave his reason with a stern face. “I'm suspecting you have the baby's twin brother with you and I'm also feeling you're not a good person at heart! Am I right, everyone?”
“Yeah!!” The other Yoshis agree unanimously without question, which was enough to tick off Kamek. “You insolent dinos! How dare you defy us! You will all regret this! Toadies! Attack!” Afterwards, a battle with some Toadies, as well as enhanced versions of ordinary enemies powered up by Kamek’s magic ensued...

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Prince Bowser’s Castle ~ Baby Bowser’s Room*
*Insert Theme: “Room Before the Boss” (Yoshi’s Island)*
The Yoshis, still carrying Baby Mario, pursued the Magikoopa, until they finally managed to corner in a dark room. The future chief then exclaimed. “We finally got you cornered, Kamek. There's no way out.”
Desperately, Kamek began to shout. “YOU! You are n-not welcome HERE! Yoshi, PLEASE HAND OVER THE BABY!” ...The Magikoopa may have shouted a little too loud, as a loud yawn from Baby Bowser resonated throughout the room. The then Koopa Prince then stared at the Koopa wizard with a grumpy gaze.
*End Theme with Record Scratch sound*
“Oh, dear... What to do... Young Master Bowser wakes...” Kamek panicked as he began to sweat like crazy at the rudely awakened Koopa Prince.
“Kamek, it's too noisy in here!! I wanna go sweepy-byyye!!!” Baby Bowser grumpily complained before moving toward the Magikoopa.
“M-My prince! I-I-I’m sorr—“ Kamek tried to apologize, but...
*THONK!* “Gyah!”
*DONK!* “Guah!”
*BOOOOMM!!* “GAAAA-ooowww...!!!” (That’s gotta hurt...)
After kicking Kamek’s completely flattened body aside, Baby Bowser began to notice the green Yoshi.
*Insert Theme: “Big Boss” (Yoshi’s Island)*
“Huh?? Hmm?!!? Mmmmm!!!!?! Wha kinda gween donkey is dat? Wooks wyke fun! Me wanna wi-ide!!! MINE!! MINE!!!” Baby Bowser shouted as he attempted to ride the young Chief Yoshi like a bucking bronco. While the crazy battle between the Ysohis and Baby Bowser ensued, with Chief Yoshi’s grunts and Baby Mario’s excessively loud crying, , Kamek inflated himself back to his normal size and staggered on the floor.
“Uuuurrroooghhh...” The Magikoopa shook the stars off the top of his head as he got on his broom, much too late as Baby Bowser was beaten.
“BWAAAAAHHH!!!” The Koopa Prince cried as his chin hit the floor, enough to make Kamek upset when he saw the young lord defeated.
“*Gasp!* Yoshi, why would you do this?!?!?! Young Master, let me help you! Here!” Kamek screamed before quickly using his magic to make the Koopa Prince larger. The Koopa wizard may have been a bit overzealous with the attempt, as the growing size of the Koopa heir blew the castle apart for inside out.

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Castle Remnants*
*Insert Theme: “Baby Bowser” (Yoshi’s Island)*
Baby Bowser had grown to an immense size as it seemed to threaten to mindlessly destroy the very foothills of rubble from where the Yoshis stood, and even caused chunks of the earth around it to rise up as it roared and fall down to crush whatever debris it hit. What was worse was that the giant baby was firing huge fireballs straight at the Yoshis. The Yoshis ddoged while pondering on how to deal with the dire situation. As if by chance, the young Chief Yoshi spotted a couple of balloon creatures known as Baron von Zeppelins carrying giant red spotted Yoshi Eggs. Taking the initiative, Chief Yoshi grabbed the large egg, and, with very careful aim, hurled the egg on the giant Baby Bowser’s face, making him move backward. The other Yoshis are wowed by their leader’s unflinching determination as he dodged more falling boulders and fireballs while the large Koopa inched ever closer. Not backing down, Chief Yoshi continued to pelt Baby Bowser with the large eggs, until the giant completely stopped moving and the magic began to lose its effect entirely.

When the dust settled, the Yoshis stood victorious as Baby Bowser, clearly back to normal, plummet to the floor with a thud.
“Gwaaaa-OWIEEEEE!!!” The Koopa prince yelped as he hit the ground, enough for the Yoshis to cheer of their victory and for Kamek to gasp in utter terror.
“. ... Mmmph... Bwa... B-WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH-HA-HA-HAAAAAAAA!!!” Baby Bowser erupted into tears, bringing utter misery to the Magikoopa as he too had tears when he looked at Chief Yoshi. “How dare you?! It's not fair... You're such a meanie... Someday... We will be back... Waaaaaah...” Without hesitation, Kamek swooped up Baby Bowser and retreated into the moonlight, with his voice echoing loud as the Yoshis leapt to where Baby Luigi was. “You and your friends will dearly for all this! I WON'T FORGET THIS!!! WAAAAAAAAAAHHH- MOM'S GONNA CHEW ME OUT FOR THIS...!”

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest ~ PRESENT DAY*
*Insert Theme: “The Blue Wizard” (Paper Mario: Sticker Star)*
After recalling all the bitter memories from years back, Kamek sadly frowned at the result he had to experience. “*Sniiiiiff* And what a toungelash Mother gave... the young master's delicate body bruised and bandaged! I messed everything up to secure the king's good future... but those two and that... that... that YOSHI had to ruin all of it...!!!” Kamek stopped for a moment as he looked and realized of what became of Chief Yoshi now. “Wait...” The Magikoopa decided to halt his movement for a bit to think, and realized one thing. “Goomnuts, you gotten fat, freak. And you're probably unfit to fight us... Maybe... maybe all these years apart were worth something after all!” With a maniacal chuckle, Kamek decided on what his course of action will be for the time being. “I... I have to get Mother on this! Hehehehaaaahahahahaha!!!” With that, the Magikoopa flew off, back to the castle ruins, his laugh heard in the far distance.
Xiaomu heard the voice somewhat as she was looking around, gripping her swordstick frimly.
“Xiaomu, did you notice something??” Reiji, quick to respond, asked his partner.
“I could’ve sworn I just heard a voice.... maybe I’m just overreacting...” The Sage Fox frowned.
“Anyway, we have to make sure none of the girls gets kidnapped this time while keeping an eye out for Saya, you hear me?” Reiji gave his orders, to which his partner understood. Eagerly. “Sure thing, Reiji! If any of these cronies of this so-called Koopa King show up, I’ll give them a Xiaomu Drill followed by a Xiaomu Kick!”
“..I’m still wondering if you made those moves up or not...” The zebra haired Shinra agent deadpanned as his gloved hand again met his face as he saw Ryou and Magikoopa end their turns without incident.
Just then, when it came to Ritsuko’s turn, after hitting her Dice Block, she somehow landed on a space that had DK’s initials...
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “DK’s Theme” (Mario Party 6)*
“Hoohoo! Ritsuko, you just stepped on my space! “ Donkey Kong shouted happily as he flexed his muscles.
“You.. YOUR space? Don’t tell me it’s anything like Bowser’s.” Ritsuko groaned, but the gargantuan ape shook a finger.
“Nonsense!! If anything, it’s the complete OPPOSITE of what Bowser brings out!” DK smiled from his wooden stage with a single microphone stage with a banana motif. “From my space, I can either let you have a DK Bonus, a mini game where you and your buddies collect Bananas, and a DK Roulette! And it is all decided by this baby right here!” With that, the necktie wearing ape shows a wheel showing the choices in evenly fashion. With that, the ape began to spin the whell. The wheel then spun around and around until it began to slow to a stop, showing the DK Roulette.
“Ah, the roulette! We both each roll one Dice Block! Let’s see if you can get a higher number than mine!” DK smiled as one Dice Block hovered and spun over his head. The ape hit to reveal an 8.
“Whoa, this si going to be tough...” Ritsuko gulped as she readied herself to hit the block. When the bespectacled producer it the block, it revealed... a 10!
“Wow... what are the chances? Well, anyway, I lost, so here’s your prize, Ritsuko... one free Star!” Dk smiled before handing the Star to Ritsuko, who stood dumbfounded.
“What?! You’re just giving me that?! Seriously?!” Ritsuko stood speechless, while Dk gave his reason. “All sorts of joy can be found with my space, which is more than I can say for Bowser. Anyway, don’t be a stranger!” With that, the ape grabbed a vine and swung out of sight.
“That... was really nice of him....” Iori stood bewildered, while Yoshi shrugged.

Meanwhile, while the participants were doing their part in the party, the rest of the group began to look at a green white-spotted big lipped toothless Piranha Plant who was clearly minding its own business.
“Eeeugh... what is that ugly plant thing...? Nano..” Miki groaned, thinking of how gross the creature might with it skin.
“Whoa, never seen this species of Piranha Plant before...” Toad thought for a moment, which grabbed Ayane’s attention, thinking of Dino Piranha. “Piranha Plant? You mean like that big weird dinosaur alien hatchling back from space?”
“Hey, this looks like one of the Gemini Piranha Vorbubuds, or GPV's, from Proffessor Shy-ler's documentation.” Shy Guy responded as he looked at the creature, making Toadette curious in the process. “You KNOW something about that thing, Shy Guy?”
The masked character then gave a brief explanation to the group. “ll I know from Prof. Shy-ler's documentation is that these weird things have digestive acids that disintegrate bugs only to get its nutrients and they got a second head on the other end, plus require pure water to survive. Despite the messy encounter he and his subordinates had, it's actually 100% harmless.” ..Of course, Reiji was pretty doubtful as he gave a serious look at Shy Guy. “100 percent harmless? That's veeeery comforting for something with the word, "Piranha." What kind of messy encounter would that be, I wonder.”
“Aww, Reiji! I'm sure that it's not like anything you're thinking.” Xiaomu curtly smirked as she stuck her arm near the mouth of the Piranha Plant, who quickly looked at the mischievous Sage Fox. “Besides, what harm could plants like this guy do to anyone?”
Reiji, beginning to sweat bullets, began to shout. “Xiaomu... GET... AWAY... FROM THAT THING.” But too late did the warning come as the toothless creature clamp its jaw on Xiaomu and began to suck her inside..
“Eugh... Hey! That kinda' tickles. See, Reiji? No harm here done. ... ...Uh, you can let go of me now.” Xiaomu smiled before beginning to notice that creature was simply not going to let her go. And to add salt to the open wound, Shy Guy added one piece of info that came a little too late. “The documentation says they also have a habit of swallowing large beings with its powerful gripping strength.”
*Insert Theme: “Stop, Thief!” (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity)*
Xiaomu’s arm was sucked to the shoulder as she screamed at Shy Guy. “UWAH! Now you're just telling us?!” Before the Sage Fox ember of Shinra noticed, tshe was sucked in up to the chest. “MMPH MMMHMHMHMM!”
“XIAOMU!!!” Reiji, suddenly alert to the situation, shouted as he quickly grabbed Xiaomu’s legs. “Geez, why!” ..Unfortunately, the grip of the jaw was the superior as it pulled Reiji in along with Xiaomu. “WHOA!”
*Gulp!* The creature swallowed the Shinra duo as they bulged underground.

“They got eaten!” Toad and Toadette screamed, but somehow, Shy guy very calm as he spoke. “Don't worry about them, the doc said that when larger victims are consumed, the other head will regurgitate them out of its Cropper.” Knowing exactly what the plant’s “Cropper” is, Ayane and Miki had only one thing to say... “EW!!!!”
*Inside the Piranha*
Xiaomu opened her eyes to see what seems to be the inside of the Gemini Piranha Vorbubud. “... Well, I really wasn't expecting this.” As the Sage Fox stood up, she then looked at her superior. “Hey, Reiji? It may be cramped and slimy in here, but isn't it also hot and steamy in here--?”
“Xiaomuuuu, you IDIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!” Reiji ,clearly upset and covered in Piranha Plant saliva shouted in red hot anger before hitting the blundering Sage Fox with a flurry of punches.
*Insert Sound Effect: “Fail Horn”*
Oh Xiaomu, such a lovable goofball, but anyway, that’s the end of the chapter. Kamek is surely wanting revenge on Chief Yoshi for what has happened years ago, and with the rotund dinosaur not physically fit anymore, this could spell trouble. No Bowser/Saya side bit this time, but I hope I can put it within the next chapter...
