ORIGINAL CHARACTER BACKGROUND STORY TIME!!!

Here we have Cassie and Derek, back in their high school days. They had been friends for a long time, and one day, Cassie accidentally knocked off Derek's glasses, and as she was handing them back to him, she noticed he had brown eyes, which she had always found attractive in a guy. She started wondering to herself how she'd never noticed her best guy friend's eyes, and even after giving back Derek's glasses, she starts to fall for him, thinking back to all the times he'd been so good to her. Then she starts getting flustered around him, which he takes notice of, seeing as she'd never acted that way before. Overtime, Derek finally steps up and asks her out.
Forward a few years after that little high school incident, and currently in Fangirl and Friends (Cassie is Crystal's older sister) they are engaged. It's basically a situation where they started off as friends and become a sweet couple over time. ^^

I went a bit nuts with the background. I tried to make it look a bit shoujo-ish, like an anime girl discovering her first love. hehe
