I recently bought the book "The Art of Tangled" and I was really inspired by it....so I came up with this Fairytale-esque piece called "In The Trees".******THANK YOU soooo much for all the amazing comments on this piece and for the DD!!! I am so grateful!

This is gorgeous and really captures a fairytale feel.

To me it's a combination of Tangled, Enchanted, and the child's computer game Pajama Sam: No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside.
More specifically, the trees from that game.

I'm really inspired when I see people who in a way remind me of how I draw but manage to colour their paintings in such a magnificent way that the characters leap out of the page(or in this case, screen) as if it were 3D.
SO many things are going on here with the trees casting shadows and the folds of her skirt and the sun shining through... One day I'll learn to do these things but until then, I'll keep faving works from people who do.
