It's been a long timeSince I last sat on this log overrun with vine.
The feelings are different, the sky a different tone.
I was so filled with hope then.
Now I sit here, without you, alone.
I think I'll drive east until The End
Say goodbye to it all
Just stop and repent.
I'll rest and take a glimpse
At all of the places we stood
Faces towards the sky to proclaim
He is mine and I am his.
Those days are over now
I feel so empty, I am so lost.
Only fate now knows
How our journey will close.
