They way this would go is that for Yumi, all you'd have to do is mention that it could happen.
i.e: "Hey Yumi, did you know that if you stick your tongue to a cold pole it might stick there?"
Yumi, as gullible as she is would then go ahead and try it.

Melody on the other hand would only do it as the result of a dare to preserve her pride and show her fearlessness.
Though in this case, it clearly backfired.

Frost, Flare, and Vanessa all know better not to do that. And, as a side note, Frost and Flare cannot be frozen.
