I always choose the water type as my starter but that terrible frog/ninja thing from the new pokemon XY made me change my ways after...ummmm like 10 years of playing pokemon? (also I hate frogs, toads, etc).Related content

I picked Chespin.Β Primarily cause me and my 2 friends were going to send eggs of the others over to each other.Β Still I have no regrets.Β I don't think the final evolution looks that bad.Β Mid evolution though.... WOH BOY!Β Need to let a bit of air out of the little guy.Β

*SPOILERS* I got my Chespin for free via in-game trade. Working on getting it to third evo because I'm a completionist. Past that I don't intend to use it all that much. My roommates and I were going to do the same as you and your friends, but none of us wanted Chespin that badly.
And yeah that third evo looks bad ass.

Actually there are two problems with your comment.

A. Greninja is a Water/Dark type.
B. Braixen is a pure Fire type.
When it evolves to Delphox, Then it will be a Fire/Psychic type.
