I always choose the water type as my starter but that terrible frog/ninja thing from the new pokemon XY made me change my ways after...ummmm like 10 years of playing pokemon? (also I hate frogs, toads, etc).Related content

Fennekin learns Psychic type moves and eventually becomes part-Psychic as well in its final form. That stick doubles as its conduit for special attacks. Keldeo never stood a chance.

I always start with the Fire starter but I knew I would be getting Charmander, and I didn't want two fire pokemon on my team so I picked Chespin, and I'm actually glad I did.

wow i'm the complete opposite, i love fire and usually i decided to go for fire after seeing the first release of fennekin, but i really disliked delphox and thought greninja was awesome, still went with fennekin though im very stubborn

but I got froxy from my brother and I got to say the evolutions arent as bad as its basic form, also it's water/dark type, wich is pretty cool I think

I'd prefer Froakie as my choice because i really do like ninjas and it evolves into one (Greninja).
And i guess this means that Rarity is gonna release Keldeo because he's no more cute to her. Is he?

I actually like froakie, and even when you choose him (spoilers! Sort of) you can still get a fennekin from your rival (shauna) at the end of the game. And for the real pokemon nerds, it has a modest nature, so it's born to be brilliant.

Geninja is better than Delphoxy... just saying. I was gonna go Fennekin myself until I actually looked them up. Plus, you get that free Torchic.Β Why shackle yourself with two fire-type starters, possibly three if you pick Charmander later on?
