uh, I don't know why but tomorrow is the bug-off day in my town...again?...I think the whole time traveling stuff is finally affecting my perfect town (also turnips can't time travel! damn!) and one of my villagers suddenly dissapeared!? (presumaby dead?) I'm saying you are making a lot of assumptions about the show, who it's for, and why we like it, all of which are wrong. I don't know who the other guys are, honestly; I just saw the inane trolling you were dishing out and laid down just where the whole pony craze originated. Lauren Faust, a.k.a. Fyre-Flye, the creator of the show, has stated rather explicitly who the show was intended for and what her goals and intentions were for making My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. If you want to bring in "target audience" as an argument, take it up with her. It's a family show, for everyone. Much like Disney. Real Disney, not the majority of crap you see on Disney Channel. Which is why cartoon/animation geeks took to it so well.
Faust takes the stand that a show about girls made with girls in mind should not be built on the mindless, generic stereotypes of girly stuff like gossip, crushing on boys, shopping, and tea parties, or characters with completely one-dimensional, interchangeable personalities. All she did was take her experiences from doing shows like "Powerpuff Girls" and "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" and input from her husband Craig McCracken, the creator of those two shows, and made a great show of her own when Hasbro presented the opportunity to her. Is it perfect? Is it the greatest thing on television? Of course it isn't. But it also isn't a mindless series of 22-minute-long corporate advertisements for a toy franchise like its predecessors.
But then, if you had the patience or basic open-mindedness to even listen to a real explanation or argument, you wouldn't be trolling around pony content just to stir up trouble, now would you? It's not like you're forced to click on any of it, you don't enjoy any of it, so your only motivation to subject yourself to something you so greatly don't enjoy must be the irrational belief that you can make others not enjoy it, too, because people liking things you don't like is wrong, right?

This actually isnt my main site I go to, I probably stick around Youtube the most since I voice act and sing there,Β this is just where I post my artwork. Not everything here is related to mlp, its just an art site in general, it doesnt focus around anything in particular. Its not really fair to judge everything on this website based off the mlp fandom since its just a small part of it. People post things such as fanart for video games, photographs, animations, etc. There are good and bad people everywhere you go unfortunately, its hard to completely escape it. :/
