Last time I checked, she wasn't whining about how this is better than her art, nor she never mentioned it. Only the majority of bronies desire the pony art, therefore, the audience causes the popularity. I don't think this is front page material. Pure art like this did deserve to be on front fav.me/d6m5kcz . I just think art like this just deserves to be loved by fellow fans. I like ponies, I get that people don't like ponies. That's cool. You don't have to like ponies. You also don't have to act like ponies are terrible things, either. I've been here through the naruto, one piece, black butler, Naruto, twilight and harry potter phases of whats really popular on the front page. Only two of those things appealed to me, but I didn't flip my shit every time I saw black butler or twilight on the front page.
The front page really is not some badge of honor, I bet a majority of the community rarely glances at it anymore. Why should it matter whats on the front page as long as its someones own original work???
We both could argue all day about what we think true art is, but with an art community as vast as this one is, it's a little silly. However if you expect the front page to simply cater to what you view as 'true art' you're bound to be disappointed.Β

Why are so many people (in the real world, that is) freaked out over the fact that we've been eating horse meat?Β It's very lean, and it's one of the many preferred meat for a lot of big carnivore reservations like Big Cats Rescue.Β I think eating overly fattened cow is a Pandora's Box that needs to be fixed.

horses have a general perception around them in most cultures of being useful for things other then food and thus brings what is an implied cultural feeling of "wrongness" or "wasteful" when you eat them. Cows and pigs serve little purpose other then providing food which is why we're okay with eating them.
