That is weird. Diamond Tiara is a huge knob-headed bitch, with her head so far up her flank she's invented the term colonoscopy.

Silver Spoon I can understand. Their families probably do business together, and as the only two apparent heiresses in Ponyville, they'd feel out of place amongst the other foals. Naturally they'd stick together, and bridge the gap they feel is there by being mean to everyone else, convincing themselves that they are better. Diamond Tiara likely spear-headed this, but who would Silver Spoon have if she denied Diamond Tiara anything she pleased?

No one. She'd be alone. She doesn't have much choice, due to upbringing and/or tradition in her lineage. I feel sorry for her... she's not a bad pony. Look at Family Appreciation Day. She was just as pleased and amazed by Granny Smith as everypony else EXCEPT Diamond Tiara.

I feel the same way. I mean, yeah Diamond Tiara has her faults, but she's still a good pony.
Silver Spoon is just a annoying lacky with no personality other than to follow Tiara's word.
(We need more fics about Diamond Tiara, like they do with Gilda, Trixie, and all the other pompous characters.)

I'm kinda the opposite. Diamond Tiara is a bit of a bitch due to being spoiled by her wealthy father. Silver Spoon is not quite as wealthy, but kinda imitating Diamond Tiara mostly because she's her only friend.

The weird thing is that her father seems to be a pretty nice guy. A bit long-winded when talking about his business, but he scolded DT more than once for being nasty. Guess she gets it from her mother..

I never thought she was supposed to be "Senior citizen", she seemed more like Cheerilee's age..And maybe ponies with naturally pink manes can't be taken seriously in pony-politics, so she had to dye it in a more 'mature' color.
