Well, it looks like Ruby has gotten more than her silver eyes from the Branwen side of the family.
Yeah, she can't stay the happy-go-lucky girl forever, but it all depends on the script she was given.
And here we see that she's just so -done- with what she had been made to portray in the canon RWBY universe so far.
Nice work on the atmosphere and the facial emotions here.

(That's not what Mary Sue means. The whole world doesn't revolve around her. Hell, she's hardly even in the show anymore. Use the wrong terms and nobody will take you seriously. I certainly can't. The proper term would be "paragon" but it sounds too nice so nobody likes to use it as an insult.)

I hope not. It seems like every other character lately is an angsty whiner with a stick up there. One or two per show is fine, but we've already got Qrow, Raven, Ironwood, Blake, (Yang, maybe she's better though), all the sane bad guys, and who knows how many that I'm forgetting.

I'm patient. It's just that it's been 5 seasons already and the main character still hasn't developed or changed as a character within those 5 seasons. No offense but It's that kind of reason as to why Ruby's one of my least favorite characters in the show. If you like her that's fine but as for me, I'll stick with Weiss.

She's not the singular main character. Never has been. Her, Weiss, Blake and Yang have all been since the series started. They're all the titular characters. And Ruby Rose is one of the best examples of the most under appreciated character arcs of all: The Neutral Character Arc.
