I have tried to draw Talia several times and this is the happiest I’ve been with how one turned out. I used the “No Time to Die” Ana De Amras poster as inspiration for the pose. I’ve been disappointed with how Talia Al Ghul has been portrayed in most of her televised/film iterations as being just another white villainess. In the comics she has mixed Arabic, European and Chinese heritage so she was always going to have a unique look about her. Were she played in live action I would imagine her being played by someone like the incredibly beautiful Nazanin Boniadi or Salam Hayek or Sofia Boutella depending on your age profile (my Talia in around 45 but the Lazarus Pit has slowed her aging as well as given her the misty green eyes…I really do think Nazanin would be perfect). I really like what TDKR did with her and Bane sharing a backstory at the prison and would incorporate that into her canon. The scar around her eyes come from the beating she received before being sentenced the “Pit’’ in Santa Prisca which were left too long to be healed by the Lazarus Pit.

In my Batman story: Talia Al Ghul has returned to Gotham after over a decade bringing with her the son she has with the Batman that he does not know about. On the run from a splinter group of the League of Shadows led by Bane, her one time colleague and childhood friend. She seeks out the Batman for help in taking down the formidable foe.
