I don't think I know Kaley Cuoco or whether she is an actress or a model or what have you but I was actually going to more or less focus on my response to the piece as a composition and less as a reproduction.
I feel like if this piece was cropped tighter it would be stronger: try looking at the piece with everything above the figure's nose 'gone' and see how that changes your reaction to it. Personally, (not knowing who or what Kaley Cuoco is or looks like), I believe the figure's eyes to be spaced too far apart from one another. Maybe that's why the cropping appeals to me but, I do thing removing the eyes gives the viewer the opportunity to relate closer to a figure because of the perceived anonymity.
Also, to smooth out areas of flat grey with more consistency you should try using a tissue. I find it helps
