Picked up a pack of super-sculpey today. Got bored and decided to make a model of H.R. Giger's Facehugger Aliens from the 'Alien' Series. Got a lot of wierd looks in the dorm halls...Overall, this took an entire pack of super-sculpey ( I actually ran out, and the college supply store ran out, so thats why the egg sacks and 'torso' are a little skinnier than usual) and was about 1.5 hours in the making. (its surprisingly quick, you can tell up close, there really isn't much detail). Just a quick and fun project.

Cool now just add a pale yellow base coat, accent the softer parts with a sort of flesh tone pink,, add shadow where shadow is demanded, and boom, you'd have a sellable piece of serriously good art.

back when me and my friends were in secondary school (high school age) we used to make lil tiny ones out of blu-tack. Seeing the super size equivalent was nostalgic.

Holy damn! Alien is one of my most favorite movies EVER! You really did an awesome job capturing the creepy facehugger in sculpey. Dag... that's just so cool!
