I think having only been here for a short time Mercia already knows more about our community then Zanita XD.That being said, Zanita is deffinatly right about the gay feminin looking emos (there is so much cloud,naruto and death note yaoi on this site >_< )

yeah, i have noticed that any picture i draw of an OC or a comic featureing OCs get like half the views, faves and comments then ones that feature anime or game characters.

Yeah it's getting pretty nasty now...i mean i have no thing against gay people, yaoi fans,etc but i'm pretty annoyed by the fact that i can't type in the name of my favorite male character without seeing another male character with his tongue down his throat or hands down his pants >.<

If I may have a say in this. I am a straight man, yet I support sevral Yaoi pairings. Infact for the upcoming Anime Boston con I will be portraying Yaoi Ishida from Bleach. I will be targeting anyone who was voice acted by Johny Yung Bosh. So watchout Zero/Lulu, Vash and Ichigo.

i never said yaoi was bad, i was just poking fun of the large quantity of yaoi artwork there is out there. It was a joke that wasnt expressing that there was anything wrong with any of the anime/ games listed, or anything wrong with Yaoi or emos (beside the obvious).
The joke was that whilst these things are popular on DA, our FA community (particularly my fans) would much rather see fat yuri then emo yaoi.

Yaoi is yaoi, and there are some pairings that make me want to bash my head in. Emo yaoi is by far the worst kind of yoai in my opinion. However the Ichigo-Ishida pairng has my full support, and at Anime Boston I will exloit it.

because you tend to find that fan girls make up a reasonable number of the group of people who mix random japanese words into their english sentences.
At Anime conventions you hear it everywhere, and I am not saying its a bad thing, cause i am one of these people who throw random japanese words into conversation rather then using their english equivilent...Plus to be honest i am a fan girl as well, and i just happen to like Yaoi and Yuri, so its alright for me to make fun of fangirls since i am making fun of myself
(that being said, i dont like Naruto, FFVII, Bleach, Kingdom Hearts or Death note like i listed in the comic)

There are many people who dont like that kinda stuff, and many people who do.
Same with expansion artwork, sadly people do not do us expansion artists the favour of simply avoiding our work if they dont like it, often they chose to flame us instead. Ohh well, life goes on
