That's what I thought as a little boy.
Now I wonder what the man would truely think of what his studios became along time... Especially since they gave up on traditional animation that made them famous.

I think he'd be alright with them going the CGI animation route. Walt was as much a businessman as he was a man of wonder.

To produce CGI movies, I agree, he would have been OK with, but to give up traditional animation at the same time...? Not so sure.
Can you imagine Ghibli Studios doing the same now ?

I agree. I think if Walt Disney could see what has happened to hand drawn animation it would make him so sad. It truly is the closest thing to magic...
One can only hope that there will be a day when it is properly appreciated for the art form it is by major studios again.
