I have MANY favorite killers in Dead by Daylight. He's not my favorite, but "Cenobite" is the one I'm best at.I play Pinhead the Hell Priest immersively. Many survivors don't understand I'm only going to hook and "Mori" whomever opened the box. Some do get it and survive by not picking it up. Most are very angry post match and whine he's the most OP of all killer options
The only times I ever break character is when I recognize a very good survivor to play with.
They all dishearten eventually and worsen over time. God I want to vs. Skermz
The one takeaway from Hellraiser movies is this: Do not, under any circumstances, open the box
