Description
Myself as Lulu from Final Fantasy X. Photo taken by Al [Eurobeat King] at A-Kon 2008. You can definitely tell how much detailing work my belts still need here [they were such a rush job], but I rather enjoy my expression. You can also tell that the corset actually does its job, LOL. My poor little mog got a dirty bottom from sitting on the parking garage pavement.Please no critiques/criticism. I'd like to keep this gallery happy! :3

Lovely Lulu~! I actually like how the belts look here because some Lulu costumes have very haphazardly arranged belts. @_@;

The belts are indeed one of the most difficult parts of the costume. They deserved much more time than I was able to put into them, so hopefully next time I will do them justice. ^__^ And that is the official Square Enix plush, all $42 of him. I hated spending so much, but the others I was finding online looked so cheap and questionable.

Thanks, but it would be almost impossible to remain decent in this costume if the corset and fur were made to sit as low in the bust as hers. I'd rather not make an exhibition of myself.

I think your belts are really good! Very few people put effort enough to make them and just buy some random heavy metal belts but I love yours! And the Mog is sooo cute!

Lulu's design is so incredibly deceptive because a lot of people assume, "Oh, this will be easy! I'll just buy a bunch of belts and throw them on the dress!" but it obviously doesn't work because the belts are so heavy that they droop and drag on the floor. ^__^; Thankfully I had been cosplaying long enough to know that another route was necessary.
