Description
Alice holds tightly onto her book, as the Chesire Cat does some sweet-talking in an attempt to distract her. This portrayal of Alice and the Chesire Cat stems from my insecurities, how I tend to reveal little about myself to most people even though they might try to draw things out from me.Alice and the Chesire Cat (c) Lewis Carroll, of course.

A medley of 4 processes: Zinc-plate etching with aquatint and soft-ground techniques, then coloration with watercolor

I really like your depictions of these storybook characters. The coloring is very nice, and this looks very professional and clean...like all of your work. Well done, once again.

Very nice, I really like it!! I especially love how the piece is framed with so much detail and then the figures are left in the center with just blankness, it brings really interesting balance to the piece. The colours are fantastic too Great work!!

could the cat look more sinister perhaps? Less...nurturing? Or is he meant to look patronizing?
