Behold, my first piece using Paint Tool Sai ver. 2! Honestly, it's so great, I'm mat at myself for not trying it out sooner lol.

Anyway, had a lot of fun getting back into drawing on my laptop again. I stuck to my active stylus as I really enjoy being able to curl up and draw on the screen, though of course the weird incompatibility of the pen's pressure levels and the stabiliser is still a bit annoying. Fortunately I was gonna use the vector lineart tools anyway for this, to keep it extra clean since it's a reference. I just drew using the pen and smoothed the lines out when I needed to.

But yeah, so, this is my Lockette that I was working so hard to gain., I've dubbed her 'Andra Kelly' because it just popped into my head (Kelly is 100% a reference to Ned Kelly), and I was no longer feeling the concept name I had for her ('Nitro'). I knew I a lot of want I wanted for her already, but it was hard to bring to gether some things, particularly doing the hair braids without normal ears lol. Also, I'll draw her jacket onto her base blothes reference at some point, I just couldn't be bothered this time. It's a reference to a jacket I have that I made for an old Android 18 cosplay years and years ago, I made the Rs mirror to avoid it being a direct copy of 18's though.
