The summer breeze would be blowing through making the people of earth either enjoy the heat or stay inside to enjoy inner cooling. The sun started to set after its usual 14 hours, the sky turning a shade of orange. The perfect time to enjoy some food is a bath. Or in the case of Xio Dou who was meditating in the family dojo focusing on her next fight, one she was looking forward to for a while. The sliding doors opening up showing a certain red headed dimension hopper. “Yo!” Jaylen would call out as the meditating monk opened an eye to look back. “Ah you made it good.” She would say placing her hands on her knees and pushing herself up. “Soooo how you doing Xio?” Jaylen would ask, tilting her head as the Asian Tyrant gave a hum. “Fine. I take it everything went well on your end?” “Well aside from making sure that crazy melon didn’t make me a Kaiju again. Things went fine.”

“Well, at least you're practicing caution.” Xio would say with closed eyes making Jaylen put her hands on her hips. “Yeah.” She would say as silence would ring through the dojo. . .a tumbleweed blowing past, making the dimension hopper blink. “Sorry.” “No worries. Now shall we get started?” The tyrant would ask clenching her fists, making Jaylen look surprised! “Wait, is that why you called me here?! To hit me!?” She would accuse Xio of trying to harm her, making the scarred asian stare at her empty headed friend unamused. “If I wanted to hit you I would have done so. Or in better context. I would have tried too. You’ve been getting better at avoiding me. Which is why I called you here.” She would say offering a genuine fight with Jaylen who blinked twice connecting the dots. “Is… is this about us being kaijus and fighting a lot?” The anomaly asked, making Xio nod.

“Indeed. Ever since that day I noticed everytime we interact physically. You tend to catch on… My habits, my techniques, even my strength.” She would say as Jaylen never really noticed she was either paying attention to something else, focusing on running from Xio or just thinking about the next Sūpā Sentai Sunpō (fighting squadron dimension) she’d end up in! “Huh. Never noticed.” Jaylen would say as Xio stared at her redheaded friend with closed eyes. “Of course you didn’t.” She said with a grumble. “Either way. Are you up for it?” “Well… it could be fun… Especially since ya kinda make me think I ain’t gonna get flattened.” Jaylen would say with a hum as she took off her jacket and set it aside. Only to get spooked when a butler came and hung it up properly. The two of them getting their proper stretches in. Xio cracked her neck and knuckles while Jaylen stretched her legs and rolled her shoulders!

“Don’t be afraid to use your powers. But try not to use anything that would destroy this dojo. I’d rather not bother Gene.” Xio would say making Jaylen hum in curiosity! If she could use her powers then this fight could really do her favors! “Bah don’t worry I’ll be sure not to use anything drastic.” The dimension hopper said with a smile honoring the dojo the Dou Monk grew up in. “My thanks. Now.” With the Tyrant taking her stance she narrowed her eyes at Jaylen. Who hopped and kicked off her shoes. “Wanna go on the next tumbleweed?” The dimension hopper asked. The silence that followed was deafening… and with how Xio’s hair shadowed her eyes. It wasn’t a good sign… until Jaylen heard it. “Sure.” Confirmation from Xio who usually would shoot down such silly ideas…
