Description
This is how I believe the Hippopotas Line could turn out with a Regional Form in no particular region, where each gender as a series first is typed differently based on what they represent. It even has an exclusive evolution with an evolution method that involves interacting with the opposite gender in some way.

It's Typing
Both Genders of this Regional Form of Hippopotas are Pure Steel, but when it comes to Hippowdon, the male version of it gains Fire as it's Secondary Typing, whilst the female version of it gains Water as it's Secondary Typing.

How it Compares to Regular Hippopotas and Hippowdon
Let's say these Regional Forms of Hippopotas and Hippowdon are their original forms, where once having fully evolved, males would provide bodies of lava, whilst females would provide bodies of water, both of which being done in a way to help the humans whilst at times still being quite dangerous, once what the each gender provides mix they'll turn into granite.
