I'll be honest, and say that the new She-Ra toon looks nicely designed, but Thundercats Roar looks silly.

Just cause the art looks doesn't equate to a good story. Have you watch 'The New Adventure of He-man'? good artwork but HORRIBLE storylines. the humor was cringeworthy at best, most of the characters painfully flat.
basically, I can tolerate bad art as long as the story is great.

Ugh. Can we all please give this petty hate a rest. Both of these shows are different in their own way, but is that such a bad thing? It's that both of these shows are trying to establish their own identities. It makes them stand out. It makes them unique in their own right.
There is no guarantee that either of these shows will become the next "Teen Titans Go" and the creators seem to have some vision for what they want their shows to be. Who cares what they look like.

True, you do make a good point. I didn’t know he-man had a reboot. Like Michael Bay’s transformers series the designs are great but the score ratings are bad (though the first transformers had a decent score rating). I am personally fine with the new she ra, she seems much younger than the orginal so it makes sense not to over sexualise her. Plus the story looks like pretty interesting in my opinion, even tho some of the designs are kind weird
