I watch SU once in a while, it is not bad but the bar is set pretty low now days for being a "Good Cartoon". I don't like the art style much, Steven is a retard and annoying. The writing thinks it is deeper than it is,Β I cannot believeΒ the very basic plots which SJWs gush over.

The issue is that the show, at least as so far I've seen, doesn't really seem to be beating you over the head with regressive SJW narratives in a overt and "in your face" attitude (not like stuff like "Gen Zed" tried). Β
Is there a subtext to it?, Yes but it is handled in a matter that at the very least is creative and aesthetically pleasing. Β (It also helps that the show's purpose isn't to be a 22 minute toy commercial)
On the other hand the way some of the hardcore fandom of SU acts leaves a lot to be desired since they use every excuse possible to make the show only about "feminist / lesbians / transgenders / body positive / racial diversity or whatever other tier of the "progressive stack" they may choose.
Not gonna lie, I like the show, specially now after the second season when the series has embraced more of the scifi themes of an ancient alien invasion which I find endlessly more entertaining that anything else the show may want to communicate beyond that. Β Β Β

Not at all. Β This stuff is not only funny, it is necessary. Β I like a bunch of shows and characters and also have a laugh seeing derisive parodies of my preferences because it gives me an outside perspective, I'll be damned if I don't make it a custom to listen to people with different views as my own. Β This is digital ink on a screen, I ain't that thin skinned to allow parodies like these hurt my "feefees"
