Being honest, I only was antibrony because my ex gf was one of them... and because of the fans bitching me to join them... but, as eventually I have got reconciliated with her, and the guys slowly stopped spamming me... The sad thing is... this is true. There's a LOT of people who use Steven Universe as a flag to try to promote their fake equality bullshit.
One thing to keep in mind is that this happens with any kind of fandom. Some SJW extremists just took it to a level beyond disgusting.
These people don't care about the show, they just use it to try to promote a venomous propaganda whether the show talks about it or not.
My only piece of advice, watch out for these people rather than the entire fandom, they're the real source of the cancerous mob mentality.

In all seriousness, I like the show, but the fandom angers me. Everything they do is pretty much for the sake of putting their morals in a pedestal while being worse than the evil they claim to fight.
It's like they take away all the effort people put to make something good, kill it, rip out its guts, and mount its carcass on a banner to fight for some reason or another just to feel superior.
Have you ever gotten to a point when something's so bad you can't even put effort into hating? Like some dispassionate loathing? That's me with all extremists in fandoms.
Anyway, sorry for ranting. At least your art is kind of refreshing with how unafraid it is to mock the "zerious pissniss" that people bring.
