How can I say I like this when I LOVE it!! Her expression is beyond any words i can express. You made my heart long to hug the image. I can imagine someone coming into view in this piece and kissing her ever-so gently on the forehead. Major congrats to you on an inspirational work.

No-brainer, I came here to look at the beautiful woman... but I found something much more immediate and profound...
Sometimes I'm loathe to interpret work for its meaning, and focus on its craft instead, but this one projects something really strong to me and I haven't seen it mentioned above...
I see terrible news, or even a terrible realization, something that hit her right in the middle of everything else she was doing. It's whacked her so hard that suddenly nothing else is important but just pondering all the terrible implications of it. She's sunk to sitting because her legs have gone weak. Her hands are so weak she can't even use them to comfort herself, and she's so faint that she's having to hold herself up with her own leg as a lever.
She keeps adding, adding, adding it up. "How long has he known," or "how long have I got," or "how will we speak again?" There's a little bit of frantic in all that loss, desperately flailing around for some hope as she explores the gloom of his sudden dawning chasm that's changed everything. And the chasm dawns ever wider.
Pardon me for my elaboration, but it's really, REALLY powerfully projected to me here.
I really feel what she feels, just looking at her.

Beautiful pic, wonderful composition, the background contrasts the main image, but creates more of a sense of intimacy, the subject at home. The background evokes even more of a voyeuristic feel in the overall image. Very well done.

Cool that she seems to be sitting on a kitchen table - unusual. Also, I love how the towel hides 'everything', but still seems very natural. It doesn't look as if she is trying to cover herself up. Which makes it all the more erotic / sensual.

Is it a pose for skin or a pose for reflection? As I see it it is a reflection of self, but then again I have my own mind to make up on reflection considering that one's frame of mind will judge this with past experience tagging along.
