No, it's a remake of the original serie of 1973, called Neo Human Casshern, Casshern Sins it's a slightly changed remake of that made in 2008 it's still on going, the movie was made in 1993 and the life action movie was made in 2004, a Manga series of Casshern Sins is being planned as well
