This picture was a bit of a nightmare. The first sketch was terrible so I decided to move to traditional, which actually worked!It's was going pretty ok and I still like the final result, but the scannr completly broke my colours so I spent the rest of the day trying to fix it, at the beggining I was trying to make it as close to the original as possible, but I eventually gave up and used the scan as a based and started painting over it. So now it's more like a digital/traditional mixed media.
It was a challenge, but I'm really happy with how it looks.
And this is most likely one of the last coloured drawings for a while, Inktoer starts tomorrow!!!
Let's see how much I can do! All my prep plans fell apart, so we'll see, hopefully I'll keep myself from being too ambitious.

Well, looks really great in the end! The thing with scanners is that the colours are always going to look washed-out and otherwise different without any editing, since they use such bright and white light - as opposed to a typical room where lighting is usually warmer and less bright.
