I've always felt people were WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too mean to poor Princess Celestia. Yes, she isn't a perfect ruler, and I also prefer Luna. But she isn't a horrible, cruel dictator like everyone makes her out to be. I feel like she wishes she wasn't royal at times. The way she has acted in the past makes me think that she is forced to act regally by those who look up to her, but she really just wants to have fun and be kind to everyone. For example, at the end of Season 1, she didn't care that the Gala and her Castle were ruined. She was just happy that Twilight and her friends were able to bring some liveliness to it. She isn't oppressive. She is benevolent.

yep I think that too, but people just make that to "be fun" I must admit that I really enjoy the trollestia meme, I think that people knows that she is a great ruler pony but they want to make her a funny-not-so-regal pony too. xD

I know, but I've gotten a little sick at the HUGE amounts of anti-Celestia. I'd like it more if it was just a few people teasing her, but it's like the entire community converging on her.
