Description
A long time ago, during the Anime crisis, Mario and his friends met an Inkopolis-born manga artist from Japan named Axol. Axol helped unban anime before he ended up being taken captive by the evil Francis until the SMG4 gang rescued him. Since then, Axol lived in the Mushroom Kingdom and would share many, many memorable adventures with his friends.

However, two years after he met his new friends, everything changed when the malevolent virus SMG0 arrived in the Mushroom Kingdom from another universe...

While trying to obtain Mario as his avatar, Zero captured Axol and corrupted him, making the manga artist part of his universe-destroying scheme. Despite the heroes' efforts to save Axol along with the universe, it was clear that Zero's hold on the axolotl was too strong and so, it all fell to Melony to end the threat by sacrificing Axol's life.

Farewell, Axol. You've been a good friend...
