Description
After SMG3 and SMG4 were captured by a corrupted sun meme and taken back to Zero's cathedral, SMG1 and SMG2 headed to the Mushroom Kingdom countryside to find SMG3's USB/Guardian Pod as the sky darkened and lightning exploded, a sign of the impending end of the universe due to Zero having Mario in the clutches of his arm. Luckily for the two SMGs, they found the Guardian Pod in the field right by a giant mushroom.

Set during the SMG4 MOVIE: 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL during the Genesis Arc. And yes, this is an illustration for MYSTERIES OF THE UNIVERSE (which I wrote), specifically, chapter 49.
