Description He roared in agony, then he fell back into the sea, falling to the ocean's depths as bubbles floated around his dying and decaying body. Godzilla dropped to the sea floor, raising his arm one more time, then his flesh vanished and a skeleton remained. And then, the skeleton faded, liquefied by the power of the device and the ocean began to calm.

"The menace was gone, so was a great man. And the whole world could wake up and live again."
-Steve Martin (Raymond Burr), American Reporter for United World News, Godzilla: King of the Monsters (1956)

However, in another universe, the remnants of the defeated monster remained behind at the bottom for decades until they were somehow retrieved and used as the framework for a machine to combat another giant monster also known as Godzilla, leading to complications when the machine battled the beast and heard it's roar.
