I thought by this time I would have more varieties in wig choices, ducking that extra effort but nope, I can't find the correct style, texture nor colour. So I bought a blonde wig and dyed it. It didn't have enough volume too so again I had to... cut up my Meltdown Rin wig to add on to it. Typing that is as painful as taking apart my Rin wig...Costume wise.. nothing else to say lol. Is a simple costume 'cept that my sewing machine went bitchfit on me, I did more unpicking than sewing.

Faux leather and... satin? What is that purple fabric??
I had to buy material for my gf's Neku shirt this weekend, but could only find blue that matched the official art (as far as I could tell, I was using the tiny screen on my phone), not that bluish-purple. :/
She ended up having to dye her wig, too, and is buying a second one in order to add volume. Nice job on yours, even if you had to destroy your other one to do it. ;^;

purple-bluish fabric is 100% cotton. and i am very careful in using satin cloths as the shine it lets off is not very pleasing, imho, unless is very appropriate for the costume/theme. aww we had the same predicament, all the best on Neku's costume

Oh! If only you lived in Florida, then I would've recommended for you to go EXP Con. Why, because a lot the people that play the Convention's Main Event Game called "The Con Ends With You" would love your Neku cosplay. Yes, it's based on the actual game "The World Ends With You".
