okay ... why samaire has a leatherman ... don't remember. acutally, except for the fact we got police and a police helicopter to shana's bday ... and the fact i shot a roll of b/w ... not much more about this night.wish i remember why she had a leatherman in her hand. she likes gadgets.
not only that ... but she's one of the coolest girls -- quite rare -- in hollywood. love her. in fact ... she could be like ... way less attractive ... and ... i'd still really like hanging out with her.
watch her on entourage!!!!!!
i really like christmas lights. especially white ones.
oh yeah ... leica mp with 50mm/1.0 noctilux at 1.0 and at 1/30 .... ilford delta 400 (push +1 at 800)

The lighting is the best aspect of this shot in my opinion, it gently highlights her open mouth and leaves the right side of her body in shadow.

If this is the same Samaire I'm thinking of....from the OC I think.... I've heard MARVELOUS things about her....the owner of a boutique I frequent in Portland is good friends with her.

Seriously I adore this! The lighting's perfect! Her face expression's awesome and the light bulbs on first plan unfocused are such a nice touch... I'd dare to say they make the photo if her face wasn't so expressive!

Lovely shot indeed. The framing with the lights (I too love white christmas lights... coloured are oh so tacky, unless we're talking uni-colour, then a whole string of just one colour is alright, but multi coloured... urgh) is fantastic, her expression is lovely, and having the leatherman while dressed to the nines really just does create many questions.

i hope its nice.. i have been in the bay area for 2 months straight.. the longest iv'e stayed in one spot for 6 months!

superb shot, i love the grain and the subtle contrast between everything except the lights, which is a very much more stark contrast, superb. really shows why you need such superb kit, you have an eye for situations, that would look so ordinary if they had been shot by someone else, i mean this could simply have been a snapshot of a friend, but it's a superb shot
