So funny story about this.

If you haven't played Pokémon Let's Go, shiny Pokémon of a certain species (eg: Pidgey) are easier to find the more of them you catch in a row. Once you catch over 30, the odds are 1 in 341. For any other Pokémon, the odds are 1 in 4,096 (although I'd set a lure off, so that number was halved).

At this point, I was chaining Pikachu. Not necessarily for the shiny version (I don't like that), but for candy (the higher a chain, the more candy you get, by the way). A short way into the chain, I saw this golden beaut.

The same thing happened a short time later with a Kakuna, but I was so deep in the chain, I didn't catch that.
