Here is my application to the DigiDestined.com Group! Azuremon is my own OC, and Tommy stands as his Tamer. I will submit my own art of Azuremon and his Tamer soon, but in the mean time, here is an amazing piece by Puli-Wind.

Tommy "Red" Redmond

Age: 21
Height: 6ft
Nationality: English
Residence: Surrey, South England

Personality:
As the oldest-brother figure, Tommy grew up looking after the younger ones, where his charming personality, and sense of humour, and an all round want to entertain people stem from. He's a softie at heart, and does prefer to avoid conflict where possible, but is quick to recognise when sometimes it's the best course of action, and will give his all (so long as there's little collateral damage). Not one to sit in the corner, he's able to offer advice, and lead where others need somebody to look up to, as he has done since his first sibling was born.
He longs to travel, and explore new places, but also enjoys good company, and feeling useful again.

Background:
Growing up with just his mother, younger brother and sister, taught Tommy very quickly that people need happiness to push away the rest of the world sometimes; a bit of peace, and smiles. He began work as a florist at 16. He didn't particularly love flowers, but they are colourful, and they're the gift of kindness and love for so many, which he thought was just what he wanted to give. After a few years his siblings grew older, leaving Tommy feeling like his role was almost redundant.

Story:
Being a florist isn't fulfilling work, and it began to tire Tommy. One day, walking back from work late at night, Tommy reached for his phone as an alert went off, just as multiple other devices on him also seemed to short circuit. A telephone pole sparked up, and burst with a blinding light. Tommy covered his eyes, only to wake up and find it was suddenly middle of he day, and he was in an open plain, with woods ahead of him. It was at this moment, in his panic, he was attacked by a giant yellow insect, and then a large white dinosaur-like creature charging at him. He dropped to his knees and covered his head, only to realise the white monster had leapt ahead of him and attacked the insect. It called itself "Azuremon". The insect launched a surprise strike at Azuremon, causing him to retaliate, forcing the insect to retreat. The Azuremon fell, but Tommy caught him, and tried to ease him. The two would then talk until the sunset, and the Azuremon died. Tommy was in tears, and wept as if he had lost a long time friend. He knew he would miss the little Digimon that saved his life. Before he knew it, he was back in the Real World, and went home.
The next day, his computer lit up, and an egg appeared.

Current Situation:
Currently, Tommy is still a florist, while Azuremon stays at home with his new family. It took time, but he's settled in, and the family enjoy his company. When Tommy returns from work, or has a day off, the two try to get away and get some time to themselves, take in the world, and complete any tasks from DMCU when it comes in.

Azuremon

Name (Not used - "Blue" if needed)
Race: Reptile, Nature Spirits, Dragon's Roar
Type: Vaccine

Personality:
Azuremon is almost identical to Tommy, except for the one contrasting difference in their upbringing; Azuremon has always been alone, more or less. Azuremon moved around a lot, and often didn't settle to make friends. He was social enough to be acquainted, but nobody moved with him, so he had few attachments. Not much was known about him; he didn't make a mess, and didn't stir trouble. He is now a jovial Digimon, and has grown much more expressive since meeting Tommy; friendly and approachable. While he is very laid back when the air is calm, he is quick to anger when anybody jabs at the fact his name is a shade of blue, and how he is, in fact, nearly all white. His "fin" reads shifts in the air, and vibrations, which gives him a head start on approaching danger. With this enhanced sense, Azuremon can quickly switch from socialising to battle ready.
Since meeting Tommy he does have a harder time dealing with moments on his own, and can be upset and more distracted in his head until he finds Tommy again, or another close friend.

Attacks (only 3):
* Azure Flame - stream of blue flames from the mouth
* Ignite Strike - flame patterns on Azuremons arms ignite into blue, claw shaped flames, and attacks at close quarters.
* Blue Bomb - a large, charged up fire ball attack, with less accuracy, but greater power.
Special condition: Can sense changes in air current, and vibrations, via the sensitive "fin" on his head.

Story:
Azuremon travelled alone at his own pace, and has done since he hatched. Keeping his head down, and minding his own business, but having no trouble socialising if he needed. He grew up amongst the grass and the trees, and he's spirit never really faltered, he was just missing something everybody else had.

One day he heard a scream from a parting in the woods, and found a human fleeing from a Flymon. The human was Tommy, and was terrified of the Azuremon whom had instinctively charged towards the human, only to jump ahead of him, and launch his Azure Flames, sweeping the air before Flymon with a stream of blue fire. The Flymon seemed distracted at first, as Azuremon then introduced himself to the human, and told him he was safe, only to take a direct hit from the Flymon. The searing pain enraged the little Reptile Digimon, and launched a destructive Blue Bomb, staggering the Flymon, enough for it to want to flee. Unfortunately, the damage Azuremon had too gravely injured Azuremon. Tommy introduced himself to him, and for the rest of the evening, they talked, and became acquainted. Eventually, Azuremon faded away, but in his last moments realised Tommy was what he was missing, almost like he was waiting for him.
As Azuremon died, and Tommy cried, he was thrust back to the Real World.

One day later, Tommy found a device before his computer at home, and it was hot to touch. As he touched the Digivice, the computer monitor lit up, and a Digiegg passed through the screen. Later would Tommy realise, it was Azuremon being reborn.
